So I went to my stylist yesterday for my usual trim and had an interesting conversation. She asked if I wanted my usual trim or if I was ready for something different, to which I replied that I had promised my mom I would keep growing my hair out because after getting the first two covid shots her once beautiful hair has huge bald patches now so she cut it short and wears wigs most of the time now. Her eyes got really big and then she proceeds to tell me that all of her older clients (and some younger ones) who got the covid shots have all started losing clumps of hair, the more shots they took the greater the hair loss.

Though that certainly came as no surprise to me (pretty much every woman I know in RL who got the shots has been experiencing problems with this) what she told me next WAS a surprise. She said that her clients who are taking the Ozempic shots are also experiencing the same sort of hair loss and that the more shots they get the more hair is thinning and falling out. 

I just thought I'd put this here as a warning. We've heard about the increase in thyroid problems, pancreatitis, sepsis and stomach cancers from Ozempic and other brand names of these shots but this is the first I've heard of hair loss from them- and someone who does nothing but deal with hair all day every day would definitely be one to know!

EBISAWA and co-defendant SOMPHOP SINGHASIRI were previously charged in April 2022 with international narcotics trafficking and firearms offenses, and both have been ordered detained.  EBISAWA and SINGHASIRI will be arraigned on the Superseding Indictment before U.S. District Judge Colleen McMahon tomorrow at noon.

DEA Administrator Anne Milgram said: “As alleged, the defendants in this case trafficked in drugs, weapons, and nuclear material — going so far as to offer uranium and weapons-grade plutonium fully expecting that Iran would use it for nuclear weapons.  This is an extraordinary example of the depravity of drug traffickers who operate with total disregard for human life.  I commend the men and women of DEA and this prosecution team for their tireless work to protect us from such evil.”

According to the allegations contained in the Superseding Indictment, which was unsealed today in Manhattan federal court:

Beginning in early 2020, EBISAWA informed UC-1 and a DEA confidential source (“CS-1”) that EBISAWA had access to a large quantity of nuclear materials that he wanted to sell.  Later that year, EBISAWA sent UC-1 a series of photographs depicting rocky substances with Geiger counters measuring radiation, as well as pages of what EBISAWA represented to be lab analyses indicating the presence of thorium and uranium in the depicted substances.  In response to EBISAWA’s repeated inquiries, UC-1 agreed, as part of the DEA’s investigation, to help EBISAWA broker the sale of his nuclear materials to UC-1’s associate, who was posing as an Iranian general (the “General”), for use in a nuclear weapons program.  EBISAWA then offered to supply the General with “plutonium” that would be even “better” and more “powerful” than uranium for this purpose.  Examples of the photographs sent by EBISAWA are shown below:

During their discussions regarding EBISAWA’s access to nuclear materials, EBISAWA also engaged with UC-1 concerning EBISAWA’s desire to purchase military-grade weapons.  To that end, in May 2021, EBISAWA sent UC-1 a list of weapons, including surface-to-air missiles, that EBISAWA wished to purchase from UC-1 on behalf of the leader of an ethnic insurgent group in Burma (“CC-1”).  Together with two other co-conspirators (“CC-2” and “CC-3”), EBISAWA proposed to UC-1 that CC-1 sell uranium to the General, through EBISAWA, to fund CC-1’s weapons purchase.  On a February 4, 2022 videoconference, CC-2 told UC-1 that CC-1 had available more than 2,000 kilograms of Thorium-232 and more than 100 kilograms of uranium in the compound U3O8 — referring to a compound of uranium commonly found in the uranium concentrate powder known as “yellowcake” — and that CC-1 could produce as much as five tons of nuclear materials in Burma.  CC-2 also advised that CC-1 had provided samples of the uranium and thorium, which CC-2 was prepared to show to UC-1’s purported buyers.  CC-2 noted that the samples should be packed “to contain . . . the radiation.”

About one week later, EBISAWA, CC-2, and CC-3 participated in a series of meetings with UC-1 and CS-1 in Southeast Asia, to discuss their ongoing weapons, narcotics, and nuclear materials transactions.  During one of these meetings, CC-2 asked UC-1 to meet in CC-2’s hotel room.  Inside the room, CC-2 showed UC-1 two plastic containers each holding a powdery yellow substance (the “Nuclear Samples”), which CC-2 described as “yellowcake.”  CC-2 advised that one container held a sample of uranium in the compound U3O8, and the other container held Thorium-232.  UC-1 photographed and video-recorded the Nuclear Samples, images of which are shown below:



With the assistance of Thai authorities, the Nuclear Samples were seized and subsequently transferred to the custody of U.S. law enforcement authorities.  A U.S. nuclear forensic laboratory examined the Nuclear Samples and determined that both samples contain detectable quantities of uranium, thorium, and plutonium.  In particular, the laboratory determined that the isotope composition of the plutonium found in the Nuclear Samples is weapons-grade, meaning that the plutonium, if produced in sufficient quantities, would be suitable for use in a nuclear weapon.

A table containing the charges and minimum and maximum penalties for EBISAWA, 60, of Japan, and SINGHASIRI, 61, of Thailand, is set forth below.  The minimum and maximum potential sentences in this case are prescribed by Congress and are provided here for informational purposes only, as any sentencing of the defendants will be determined by Judge McMahon.

Lines of attack, he said he was told, will be through cyber attacks, crippling power grids, train derailments and cells of armed terrorists who target multiple areas of the country.

“Their deal is to cause us disruption in our county. To cause chaos in our country, not like next week — now. From the red flags and chatter that they (FBI) are hearing,” he said.
Jones said the FBI also said people have come across the border to “do harm to us … that they have never seen it this bad.”
Thousands of people are working to disrupt the country, including national and local elections, he said.
“They told us we need to be prepared to talk to local county election people to be prepared,” Jones said. “They want us to lose faith in our government.”
He said big cities will not just be the target, terrorists also will hit in smaller cities and rural areas where people typically feel safe.

ALL ABOARD THE COFFIN TRAIN

Quote:London had a problem on its hands. By the mid 19th century the city already had an extremely long and storied history but with the turn of the century came the masses. The lure of the city, with its industry, its jobs, and its connections to the rest of the world caused the population of London to double by 1850. The streets and structures were packed with humanity and all the debris, pollution, and chaos that came with it. And while these were all major problems facing the city, time was running short on finding a solution to one of the biggest issues. The problem was not brought on by the living, one of the most urgent matters was being caused by London’s dead.

Previous to the mid-19th century the typical way to dispose of the dead was to bury them in one of the many small church graveyards in family plots or an unmarked place of eternal rest. With the massive influx of people filling the London streets it also meant a level of death unseen by a city that was poorly equipped to deal with the bodies stacking up. The living population doubled, but the land set aside for the dead remained at only approximately 300 acres scattered throughout 200 small burial sites.

Graves were dug hastily, just for the bodies to reappear above ground after a heavy rain. Plots were dug only for the shovels to hit unexpected layers of bones. Old bodies were dug up and discarded to make room for the fresh corpses. The London burial crisis was in desperate need of a solution and in 1830 Parliament thought they had it with the creation of the “Magnificent Seven,” seven massive, privately run burial grounds that lay just outside the borders of the city. They were sprawling, picturesque, beautifully maintained….and woefully expensive. The only problem that the Magnificent Seven solved was how to die if you had deep pockets. The vicious cycle continued. The dead infected the living, plagues and epidemics swept through the streets taking more souls and adding to the piles of bodies that only further infected those who survived the last miasma. In 1842 a Royal Commission was established to investigate the crisis and the findings were grim. It was determined that London simply had no more graves to give, there was no room, and digging a new grave would inevitably unearth a current tenant. There would have to be a solution, but things became much worse when a wave of cholera swept through the city in 1848, lasting a year, taking over 14,000 lives, and completely decimating any thin sense of optimism someone may have had of finding a quick and efficient answer for disposing of the dead. The already overwhelmed city soon became crushed over the influx of bodies and the accompanying decay and disease. By 1851 the epidemic had slowed and the Act to Amend the Laws Concerning the Burial of the Dead in the Metropolis, also known as the Burials Act, was passed forbidding any further burials to take place in the most heavily populated areas of London. There was simply no other option, the burial grounds that did exist were not good at hiding the overcrowding problem from the world and the ground was actually growing taller due to the sheer amount of humans in various stages of decay that were packed inside. According to an 1852 account David Bartlett remarked:

Quote:“Many times in our walks about London we have noticed the grave-yards attached to the various churches, for in almost every case, they are elevated considerably above the level of the sidewalk, and in some instances, five or six feet above it. The reason was clear enough—it was an accumulation for years of human dust, and that too in the centre of the largest city in the world.”

Even Charles Dickens commented on the heights of the growing graveyards, saying that they were “"conveniently and healthfully elevated above the level of the living.“

While the halt on new burials within the city put a stop to the rampant unavoidable exhumations in the burial grounds it led to another question. How do we prevent any new cemeteries from becoming just as full down the road? London was going to continue to grow and people were not going to stop dying, a plan needed to be in place.

Sir Richard Broun and Richard Sprye were entrepreneurs who believed the growth of London was partially due to the recent industrialization, and they also believed that industrialization could be an answer to the burial problem by using a new and controversial addition to the city, the railroad. The pair crunched the numbers and presented their plan. A 500-acre tract of land twenty-three miles outside of London in the village of Brookwood would be purchased and the already existing London and South Western Railway would dedicate one train a day to the purpose of transporting the dead to the new Brookwood Cemetery in dedicated coffin trains. The bodies would be kept at the cemetery until families arrived for the funerals by dedicated train, a fast and efficient way to attend that would otherwise require an agonizingly long horse and carriage ride of over ten hours. Broun estimated that the cemetery could hold 5,830,500 individual single-depth graves, enough to last 350 years before the burial ground would be full. Some people were against the railway, feeling it was demeaning to the dead, but on June 30th 1852 the London Necropolis and National Mausoleum Company (LNC) was formed. But, there were numerous roadblocks before things could officially get underway.

For one, the entire operation had to be built from the very beginning, and there were some very differing ideas as to how the project should proceed. Broun and Sprye knew what they wanted, but consulting engineer William Cubitt denied idea after idea. By September 1853 Broun and Sprye were out of the picture, an entirely new Board of Trustees was in place, and work could finally begin on the railway.  A 2,200-acre tract of land stretching to Brookwood was purchased, and a railway line was constructed branching off from the main rail line leading directly into the westernmost section of land where the cemetery would begin. Just over one year later on November 7th 1854 the cemetery opened under the name Brookwood Cemetery with the Bishop of Winchester consecrating the ground dedicated to Anglican burials. At the time it was the largest cemetery in the world and the burials began fast, the first train left the London Necropolis Railway station on November 13th carrying the first to be buried that same day, the stillborn twins of a Mr. and Mrs. Hore.

The opening of Brookwood Cemetery and the London Necropolis Railway made dignified death accessible to all. Boasting the same gardens and grandeur of the luxury cemeteries, people could afford to bury their loved ones without risk of finding graves already occupied, without fear of them unintentionally resurrecting, and knowing they were being laid to rest away from the pollution and hazards of burials in London before the Burials Act was passed.

The company had a private terminal in London’s Waterloo Station and when a person died their body was transported there to lay in storage underneath the archway until it was time for their burial. The terminal for the Necropolis line was separate from the London and South Western Railway and it housed two mortuaries, the boardroom for the London Necropolis and National Mausoleum Company, and separate waiting rooms for those attending first-, second-, and third-class funerals. On occasion, these waiting rooms could be used as makeshift chapels if there were family members who were unable to make the journey to Brookwood Cemetery. This separate terminal prevented hearses from blocking the street but it also allowed mourners to arrive at the railway in private. Once arrived, the families and friends of the deceased gathered at the train station in the morning and boarded railcars that were separate from the cars dedicated to carrying the dead.

First-class funerals got the mourners first-class train tickets but also allowed them to select a grave location of their choice and guaranteed them that a permanent memorial would be erected by the London Necropolis and National Mausoleum Company. Second-class mourners had less control over burial location and had to pay an additional fee for a stone. Third-class was reserved for the pauper burials where expenses were paid at the expense of the parish. Because of this, the parish decided where the grave would be located and there was no permanent marker. It may seem like all the control was given away, but here in Brookwood Cemetery even the paupers were promised their own, private resting place rather than being disposed of in a mass grave. Large numbers of graves in the overcrowded London burial grounds were even dug up and the bodies moved to Brookwood, finally giving them their own place of rest.

The train cars themselves also had their own class structure and people were separated into either Anglican or Noncomformist in first-, second-, or third-class seating which were all very similar with the exception of some differing decorative elements. Once inside the cemetery itself there were two different stations, North Station for the Nonconformists and South Station for those belonging to the Church of England. Each station were single-story structures made primarily out of wood and they served as much more than just a station stop. The buildings were the funeral reception areas, it was where cemetery staff lived inside built-in apartments, it was where upper class mourners could select pre-made headstones, and it’s also where the “refreshment rooms” were. Each station was fully licensed to serve alcohol during normal business hours, and they catered to more than just the mourner. A relative of a member of the cemetery staff once recalled: “In addition to catering for mourners, who mostly came down from London by train, we also had local people who walked through the cemetery calling in for afternoon tea…” The refreshment rooms were also where the train crew stayed while the funeral was going on and on at least one occasion in January 1867 the driver of the train became too drunk to drive back, leaving a fireman to drive the train back to London.

By 1896 congestion had become an issue and the London and South Western Railway proposed that they would provide the Necropolis Railway with a new station in exchange for their old terminal. An agreement was signed in May 1899 and on February 8th 1902 the new Necropolis Railway terminal opened. The new four-story building held the company offices, mortuaries, storerooms, waiting rooms, ticket offices, and a dedicated chapel space for those unable to travel to the cemetery. Portions of the London and South Western Railway were then widened to accommodate the growing Waterloo station and the original site of the Necropolis Railway was destroyed in the construction.

Although the London Necropolis and National Mausoleum Company solved a massive problem for the dead of the city, the long-standing phenomenon envisioned by Broun and Sprye came to an end sooner than they anticipated. When Broun and Sprye proposed their revolutionary burial solution the numbers they presented were staggering, an ability to bury millions of bodies and have burial spaces available for the next 350 years. But, in the first twenty years of operation Brookwood Cemetery had only seen approximately 3,200 burials a year. The first indication of the decline came in October 1900 when the railway eliminated Sunday services, but the real death blow came just over forty years later.

On the night of April 16th 1941 London experienced one of the worst nights of the London Blitz with bombs raining down on the city, starting thousands of fires and taking 1,000 lives by the time it ceased. The terminal for the Necropolis Railway was destroyed with only the platforms, first class waiting rooms, and offices surviving. The train itself was described as “burnt out” and the station was immediately closed down with decisions about the future of the railway to be figured out after the war. When the time came to revisit the train line in 1945 there were major obstacles standing in the way of any hopes to reopen. The cost of rebuilding the station, the trains, and fixing the now-neglected tracks was going to be substantial and the fact that use of the line was beginning to decline even before the war made repair and reopening seem unnecessary. The Necropolis Railway was officially, and unexpectedly, permanently closed.

The London and Southwest Railway (which became the Southern Railway after 1923), and the London Necropolis and National Mausoleum Company began negotiations to determine what to do with the facilities. In December 1946 it was decided that the waiting rooms, caretaker areas, and the platforms themselves would be owned by Southern Railway while the office and other remaining portions would continue to be owned by the London Necropolis and National Mausoleum Company to either use or dispose of. They sold the site to the British Humane Association in May 1947 and the offices were relocated to Brookwood Cemetery.

As time went on the railway, and the practice of transporting the dead by rail, faded into obscurity. Portions of the property where the 1902 terminal was located was built over for new offices, the North and South Stations became North Bar and South Bar serving refreshments until they also closed, and the rails to the line into the cemetery were removed in 1947 leaving the former track bed to become a dirt path and eventually a walkway. Today there are still some remnants of the London Necropolis Railway peeking through to the modern day. In London the second building that served as the London Necropolis and National Mausoleum Company offices and the entrance to the first-class terminal on Westminster Bridge Road is still standing as well as some iron columns that once supported the tracks in Newnham Terrace. The North Station inside the cemetery was demolished in the early 1960s because of dry rot and South Station was closed in 1967 and used as a mortuary and storage building for five years. In September 1972 a fire broke out in South Station totally destroying the building leading to its demise by bulldozer that same year. All that remains of the two stations now are their platforms. One building that is still alive and utilized is the chapel that once belonged to South Station, now restored by the St. Edward Brotherhood who use the chapel and maintain a shrine there for the bones of St. Edward the Martyr.

In 2007 a piece of rail track laid out on the former track bed and a plaque were dedicated as a memorial to the railway and the tens of thousands of souls who found their final place of rest after taking a ride on a train.

Ida Lupino, Actress, Director, Writer & Diva, Hollywood’s Forgotten Trailblazer Who Could Talk To The Spirit World.



Though Paramount had imported her from England as an ingénue, Ida Lupino proved more than merely wise beyond her years when she landed in Hollywood in 1934. The 16-year-old scion of a British acting dynasty, Lupino evinced a husky sensuality that had won her a reputation in her homeland as the British Jean Harlow.

"My father once said to me, 'You're born to be bad,' she recalled. 'And it was true. I made eight films in England before I came to America, and I played a tramp or a slut in all of them." -From The Hollywood Reporter, August 7, 1995.

Ida Lupino was born in London on Feb. 4, 1918. In the weeks leading up to her birth during the First World War, German triplanes had rained bombs down on the city, killing 68. The terror from above had yielded to dense fog, punctured by a thunderstorm - a dramatic beginning for a future world class actress. Born into a theatrical dynasty, Lupino's father Stanley was a music hall sensation and her ancestry was rich in actors, dancers, singers, puppeteers and tightrope walkers. The success of Lupino's father, grandfather and uncles had resulted in family friendship with such literary figures as Charles Dickens and "Peter Pan" creator J. M. Barrie, while Edward VII, son of Britain's long-seated Queen Victoria, had dubbed the Lupino clan "The Royal Family of Greasepaint." With Stanley Lupino's increasing fortunes as a popular entertainer, the family was able to relocate from a modest home in Dulwich to a Tudor mansion in Streatham. Ida Lupino grew up in a home full of theatrical memorabilia, and sang her first songs with her younger sister and parents around the family piano.



She Had A Secret Acting Hack

Why did Ida take these incidents so far? Well, she’d already unlocked her superpower: lying to herself. She once said, “I believed my own lies completely so that others believed me". Call it whatever you want, delusion or genius, it might have been the secret to her acting. But this self-determination and penchant for dramatics later sparkled turmoil for Ida and everyone around her.

She lasted less than a year in school. In 1933, fifteen-year-old Ida dropped out of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts to pursue one audition. That seems insane, but it was not an ordinary role: It was for the lead role in Alice in Wonderland. Becoming a dropout and moving from London to Hollywood was a gamble, but it came with a potential jackpot.

Teenage Ida and her stage took a massive risk: She dropped out of a prestigious school in hopes of landing the lead in Alice in Wonderland. Unfortunately, Ida failed to secure what would’ve been a life-changing role. But she was unphased and joked, “I would have played her as a hooker and danced on the table tops". This was merely one of many obstacles Ida faced.

Ida's beauty dragged her down again. And again. And again. Eventually, Ida became notorious for being too beautiful; she was cursed with good looks. Young Ida couldn’t help but steal the limelight from grown leading actresses—even from one of the most important women in her life...Her own mother.

Stanley—her father, mentor, and biggest supporter—died of cancer an ocean away. After his passing, she broke down. Ida was not only convinced of the supernatural, but she insisted she could communicate with his spirit. Her fame and fortune couldn’t save Stanley. It was also useless against the global conflict, which showed no signs of ending.

It wouldn’t save her husband or marriage either. But Ida refused to surrender without a fight.

Ida was one of a kind. She wasn’t just one of the only female directors and producers, she made movies about untouchable topics. These included gender violence (Film-Noir "Outrage" 1950), bigamy (The Bigamist, 1953), and unwanted pregnancies. Her magnum opus is thought to be "The Hitch-Hiker" (Director/Writer 1953; film distributor Howard Hughes RKO Radio Pictures) the only film noir from the genre's classic period directed by a woman, a movie about a serial killer. At the time, this topic was taboo. Ida didn’t just make it work, she made herself into a legend.

Throughout her career, she directed at least a hundred television episodes and appeared in 59 films. Her work spans decades and genres. While Ida came from a legendary Renaissance family, she surpassed them all and became the ultimate Lupino and Renaissance woman.

However, sometimes she had to tap into her dark side in order to get her movies made. Ida did wild things to fund her movies. After all, independent films about taboo topics weren’t exactly enticing to investors. She had to sexualize her film proposals to entice business partner Howard Hughes—a notorious ladies' man—to fund them. Ida also pretended she was a damsel in distress to sway industry men. It worked.



When a house earns the nickname “the Hotel,” you know it’s crazy. Ida’s house, or hotel, was open 24/7 to her friends. As a result, there was a chaotic stream of celebrities, parties, cocktails, and even a zoo’s worth of pets. Ida’s house exemplified the glamor, excess, and drama of Hollywood’s Golden Era. It was mind-blowing fun for everyone.

Ida really was the life of the party, that is, until politics got involved.



President Reagan Betrayed Her. One of Ida’s most famous friends was Ronald Reagan. Yes, that Ronald Reagan. The Hollywood stars were extremely close friends until he became a traitor. You see, Ida was a devoted Democrat. So she viewed Reagan abandoning their party and joining the Republicans as treacherous.



She Learned The Hard Way

Ida learned firsthand why you should not mix business with pleasure. She constantly clashed with her husband Collier over creative differences and business decisions. Notably, his incompetence led to near financial ruin. Business conflicts, impossible to separate, invaded their marriage. Don’t worry, Ida got back at Collier in the ultimate way.

She Betrayed Her Husband

Once again, all that glitters is not gold. The Hollywood power couple’s marriage was miserable—professionally and personally. She desperately wanted children, but he was infertile. The fights, resentment, and issues piled up over time—and the rocky marriage collapsed after Ida met actor Howard Duff. Collier screwed up, but what she did was unforgivable.

Ida behaved just as scandalously as her characters. Swept away by Howard’s suave charm, she embarked on a passionate affair. Before the divorce was even finalized, Ida was already pregnant. Any hope of salvaging her marriage vanished into thin air. This time, Ida did the abandoning. Poor Collier. But for Ida, the third time’s the charm, right? Well, not quite.

Her Third Marriage Was Messy

Unfortunately, Ida and Howard’s relationship captivated Tinseltown for all the wrong reasons. The hot-headed pair were notorious for unhinged fights. Wherever they went, drama and destruction followed. As a result, everyone—from celebrities to fans—eagerly anticipated what they would do next. And no one could have guessed their next move.



She Trolled The Paparazzi

One night, the couple turned the tables on the tabloids. They went with friends to a restaurant swarming with paparazzi. Suddenly, the group started screaming and fighting. There was yelling! Fighting! Kissing! Dancing! Onlookers gawked at the shocking spectacle. It was hilarious but equally rooted in reality. Ida and Howard’s relationship really was that chaotic.

Howard Abandoned Her Again and Again

Turns out, you can't trust anything in the land of make-believe. Ida may have left Collier, but Howard abandoned her a hundred times over. One day, he randomly walked out on Ida and their daughter Bridget. Howard eventually returned but his reckless abandonment became a disturbing habit, that is, until the day he never came back.

Ida was alone all over again, but that wasn't the only part of her life going up in flames.



Her Business Fell Apart

Ida’s production company went bankrupt due to business decisions beyond her control. She’d wanted nothing more than to make movies in her vision. This was a devastating loss for Ida and American independent cinema. She fought and defeated goliath industry bosses to make it happen. Now? Ida could no longer work independently. This bad luck invaded every part of her life.

She Destroyed Her Relationship With Her Daughter

History repeated itself. A pushy Ida Lupino began pressuring her daughter into the family business. This time, it didn’t end well. Ida insisted that Bridget join her in Hollywood. After all, it was a centuries-old family tradition. It was practically destiny. However, Bridget refused. She hated Hollywood and fled.

A devastated Ida viewed this as yet another abandonment. With her family nowhere to be found, she turned down an even darker road.

Everything Was Out Of Control

By the 1970s, Ida’s life was a disaster. Every single part of it. She was a triple divorcée estranged from her only child. At this point, she’d been abandoned by her first love, father, mother, countless friends, and multiple husbands. Ida became a recluse and pushed away everyone else. She was broke, depressed, and struggling with a drinking problem.

But once you’ve hit rock bottom, there’s only one way to go...up.



An angel came into Ida’s life just before it was too late. Mary Anderson—the daughter of an actress herself—rescued Ida just as she was falling apart. She saved her finances, health, home, legacy, career, and more! They even wrote her memoir together. Most of Ida’s circle had passed or abandoned her: It was the two of them against the world. Mary wasn’t just Ida’s best friend, she was her salvation.



Mary was so good at managing her friend’s life, Ida demonstrated her trust in the biggest way. She appointed Mary as her conservator. Basically, Ida gave up control of her life, everything, to Mary. She became entirely dependent on her friend. This was major for the hermit with abandonment issues. This time, Mary stayed until the very end.

Tragically, it was Ida’s turn to leave a loved one.
