The 2002–2004 SARS outbreak was an epidemic involving severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) caused by . . . coronavirus (SARS-CoV or SARS-CoV-1). April - MERS Epidemic
Health officials first reported the disease in Saudi Arabia in September 2012. Through retrospective (backward-looking) investigations, they later identified that the first known cases of MERS occurred in Jordan in April 2012. So far, all cases of MERS have been linked through travel to, or residence in, countries in and near the Arabian Peninsula. Source: CDC

Chinese scientist Shi Zhengli found the closest match to COVID-19 in samples of bat faeces taken during research in 2012. It was found after six men were struck down with fever, coughs and pneumonia, half of them fatally, after working in the mineshaft. Source: Daily Express UK

In April 2012, six miners in the Mojiang mine in southwestern China’s Yunnan province fell ill after spending more than 14 days removing bat feces. Three eventually died . . . The doctor also sent sample tissues from the miners to the Wuhan lab, a focal point of coronavirus research in China. There, scientists found the source of infection was a SARS-like coronavirus from a Chinese rufous horseshoe bat, according to the thesis.

Latham and Wilson believe the virus — once inside the miners — “evolved” into SARS CoV-2, “an unusually pathogenic coronavirus highly adapted to humans,” and the samples somehow escaped from the lab last year, launching what has morphed into the coronavirus pandemic.

The documents obtained by The Mail on Sunday detail a major project called 'the discovery of animal-delivered pathogens carried by wild animals', which set out to find organisms that could infect humans and investigate their evolution.

It was launched in 2012 and funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. The project was led by Xu Jianguo, who boasted at a conference in 2019 that 'a giant network of infectious disease prevention and control is taking shape'.

The professor also headed the first expert group investigating Covid's emergence in Wuhan. He denied human transmission initially, despite evidence from hospitals, then insisted in mid-January 'this epidemic is limited and will end if there are no new cases next week'.

January 10, 2019. Scientists discover new Ebola-like virus in China - " A new virus with eery similarities to Ebola has been discovered in China, according to new research."

The newly found Měnglà virus shares many of the same traits that have helped Ebola break into human cells, the study published in Nature Microbiology stressed.

The virus was discovered in fruit bats by Chinese and Singaporean scientists and has the potential to infect both humans and other animals.

Měnglà, Ebola and the lesser-known Marburg are all related as members of the filovirus family. There is no evidence yet that it has spread to humans. Source: New York Post

"The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) said it sent the 15 strains of viruses on a commercial flight to China "for the purpose of scientific research" in March, 2019.

The package included a sample of the deadly zoonotic Nipah virus - which causes severe swelling of the brain, difficulty breathing and seizures.

It also included several strains of the Ebola virus, which causes fevers, vomiting, diarrhoea as well as internal and external bleeding. The disease has claimed more than 11,300 lives in West Africa.

But soon after the shipment, Dr Xiangguo Qiu and her biologist husband Keding Cheng were marched out of the Winnipeg-based lab and stripped of their security clearance, CBC News reports.

Five "foreign" athletes were hospitalized for an undetermined infection. Many foreign athletes from France, Belgium, Germany Italy, Sweden, Luxembourg have revealed that they fell ill at the World Military Games, and thought, retrospectively, that what they had was COVID-19.

The first real COVID-19 case among Wuhan locals appeared on November 2, only six days after the end of the military games. Top Chinese Military Scientist Filed Coronavirus Vaccine Patent In February 2020, Died Mysteriously . . . No, not that kind of park. Imagine your brain is so reminiscent of moth-eaten cheese cloth that your sociopolitical position can be swayed by a free mini-game on your cell phone called "Cat Park".

Leaked State Dept memo obtained by America First Legal reveals US gov't is producing VIDEO GAMES with taxpayer dollars for “psychological vaccination against fake news.” How dare they!

Their plan is to stop populism on social media.

So begins a government memorandum recently circulated by the US State Department's Global Engagement Center (GEC) titled: “Cat Park – A New Online Game to Inoculate Youth Against Disinformation,” recently obtained by America First Legal and reviewed by Foundation for Freedom Online.

The memo, dated Oct. 31, 2022, details a government plan to roll out a new taxpayer-funded online game called Cat Park. The game is billed as a product that “inoculates players against real world disinformation by showing how sensational headlines, memes, and manipulated media can be used to advance conspiracy theories and incite real-world violence.”

However, there is more going on here than a simple cat-themed video game.

As this report will explain, the GEC appears to be using taxpayer dollars to fund “behavioral modification” propaganda games intended to make young people around the world view populist content online as being de facto “disinformation.”

To understand the full story, we will explore the Cat Park game itself, break down the GEC memo, and then reveal the bigger picture of where this all came from and what's behind it.

Cat Park: 'Vaccinating' Young People Against Distrust In The Government

Aimed at young people aged 15 years and up, Cat Park purports to be a “noir adventure” where a player takes on “the role of a disinformation agent recruited into a shadowy social media pressure campaign.”

In the game's plot, the player assumes the role of a social media user who makes memes and news headlines to energize local citizens to stop the construction of a local park for cats (hence, Cat Park). Then, the player, realizing they have been spreading disinformation, must repent for their memes that resulted in the park getting canceled.

The major crux of plot tension in the game is the concern that the cat park being built by the city's mayor ostensibly only serves the city's upper-income residents. Thus, populist resentment lurks within the lower-income strata at the city who believe their own needs are being neglected by government officials.

Thus, as a “disinformation” purveyor, the player represents the “anti-park” movement, and begins the game by generating grievances against the park's construction.

The GEC was first founded and overseen in 2016 by then-State Department Under Secretary for Public Affairs Richard Stengel. Stengel described his job at GEC as being the US government's “chief propagandist.”

Led by researcher and historian David Marler, the organization has announced its plans to have its archive housed at a facility in the Albuquerque, New Mexico, area.

Notably, the organization’s New Mexico facility will also house collections owned by the J. Allen Hynek Center for UFO Studies, following the transfer of files by its director, Mark Rodeghier, Ph.D., to Marler in November 2020. Included with this collection are the personal files of J. Allen Hynek, the Center’s namesake, who served as scientific advisor to the U.S. Air Force’s official UFO investigations for close to two decades.

Marler is currently also in possession of the files formerly maintained by the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena (NICAP), which at one time represented the largest civilian UFO investigative organization in the United States, and says that as many as a dozen more private UFO collections have already been promised to be delivered to the facility over the next two years.

“With the accumulated data, we hope to assist with serious research endeavors and aid in an accurate chronicling of UFO/UAP history for present and future generations regardless of belief or non-belief in the subject,” read a portion of a press release issued by the group.

Marler, who spoke with The Debrief at length about the new endeavor, expressed appreciation for the renewed public interest in the UFO subject seen in recent years.

“What I find though is that, despite the ever-increasing amount of people that are looking at the UFO or UAP subject, not a lot of people—a very small percentage—are interested in the history,” Marler told The Debrief.

This is exactly what happened to me years ago, upon coming into work one morning and reading first email marked urgent with red flag. I was already sweating bullets with my shaking trigger finger hovering over the mouse. Screw it; click. It was short and to the point, except we were told to report to the 3rd floor, room 3114. Out of around 110 people I was one of the 9 that got to keep my job. In my case I was not a coder, but was the validation architect who wrote detailed plans on how to go about testing/verifying the code, including lab design & equipment required. Sweating bullets for sure. The new top level executive brought in to trim the fat was from Hewlett Packard Enterprise and had a prior position at Enron.

Some folks knew of her and her nickname among former employees was known as the angel of death. Well, damn this is already really freakin bad news! The following morning upon all returning to work, those that didn't make the grade had their badges revoked and escorted by security to HR. By 12 noon they were all gone and the 9 of us were about to embark on the dawn of a new day, new secret project, new work/life.
