All wars are always about good and evil, the big problem is both sides are a mix of good and evil.
For good to fight evil good must become evil or even more evil than what it fights if it wants to win. For a long time i understood that to think that one side is all good and the other side is all bad is pointless. I use the light that is in my soul to guide me and hope its strong enough to help heal the hurt. I do not know if i am good or evil, because nothing is all good and nothing is all bad. Everything is a mixture, sometime more good some time more evil.
Do not fear because that is what evil wants, it wants people to live in feat. Live life and keep the joy and light in your soul

The shadow of evil covers the world now, but many people who carry light are driving the shadow of evil away. We can never drive the shadow of evil completely away but we can drive it back and bring light and hope to the world, and we will.

I also think much about the fact that good and evil are very fluid, sometimes I think of things long ago that were seen as evil but now are seen as good. For me hindsight does not bring answers but questions about how fluid good and evil are and how easily interchangeable they are.
How easily we let good and evil be decided by politics. Perhaps the only thing that can decide what is good or evil is us, but if we do then we must take the reasonability for that decision.
Is this the reason we dont make the decision and let others make the decisions for us.

A wile ago I read an article about a Doctor having the mark of Satan on him, its now behind a pay wall and wont let copy/paste work. But the main point I wish to address is
What is a good Doctor
Is it a doctor who does what is mortally right
Is it a doctor  that does what is medically right
Is it a doctor who does what is political right at the time
What about abortionaborti, what about aborting certain types of unborn, what about doctors supporting abortions' as a means of  contraceptioncontracepv
Is a good doctor white, black, what color is a good doctor
Is a good doctor an affirmative action appointee , is a good doctor someone who studied hard , became a doctor then never bothered to update there knowage over there work life.
What is a good doctor is not a new question, its very old, but I think its a question that we have forgotten to answer or even ask.
Can a good doctor be defined only by medical or moral or political action.

Varha to start distributing iodine tablets to children under 3 in June

The distribution of iodine tablets suitable for children under 3 years of age will start in the welfare area of Southwest Finland in week 23. The product will also be supplied to the appropriate health care units for administration to young children.

In November 2022, the Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority STUK announced that public health services will purchase iodine tablets suitable for children under 3 years of age. The iodine tablets will be distributed from paediatric clinics, as there is currently no potassium iodide strength suitable for administration to children under 3 years of age available in pharmacies.

The distribution of iodine tablets will start in week 23 in the South-West Finland welfare area. The iodine product to be used is 'Potassium iodide G.L. Pharma 65 mg 10 tabl'. The clinics in the region will have their own times to collect the product. The collection times for iodine tablets will be published on Monday 5 June 2023 on the varha.fi website at www.varha.fi/lasten-joditabletit. If you have already booked an appointment with a clinic within one month of the start of the distribution, you will receive the iodine product at the time of your appointment and will not need to make a separate visit. In future, the product will be distributed to parents of newborn babies at the first antenatal visit.

The iodine tablets are accompanied by detailed instructions for use and are kept at home as a precautionary measure only.

For children over three years of age, pregnant women and adults up to 40 years of age, iodine tablets are purchased from the pharmacy itself, following the STM guidelines (pdf)

Taken at the right time, iodine tablets saturate the thyroid gland with normal non-radioactive iodine and prevent the accumulation of radioactive iodine in the thyroid gland. Radioactive iodine is eliminated from the body through the kidneys. If taken too early or too late, the protective effect of the tablet is reduced. An iodine tablet protects only the thyroid gland, it does not reduce other exposures.

When should iodine tablets be used?
Iodine tablets are only used if prescribed by the emergency services. An iodine tablet should never be taken on its own.
The emergency authority will issue a hazard statement if people should take shelter inside or use iodine tablets.
The first line of defence in a radiological emergency is to shelter in place. This is the most effective way to reduce radiation exposure.
Taking iodine tablets is a secondary support measure.

Amber possesses several properties that enable the preservation of ancient microorganisms (Fig. 1A and B), such as its low water activity and the presence of sugars in bacterial cell walls that may prevent cell damage during the dehydration process. The absence of water in amber makes it the ideal environment for enzyme inhibition and, thus, cell component preservation, including DNA (58). Many bacterial isolates from amber belong to the genus Bacillus, which consists of aerobic spore-formers with a genome protected from UV radiation, oxidizing agents, and depurination by several mechanisms. Spores are protected by several different layers within the bacterial cell, are located where water percentages are the lowest, and exhibit the lowest pH values within the cell. Notably, even when these factors are modified, spore DNA remains conserved. This characteristic of spores has been attributed to the action of small, acid-soluble proteins (SASPs), encoded by ssp (59). SASPs are synthesized during the late stages of spore formation and are consequently degraded when spores germinate. SAPSs are known to protect DNA by binding to and saturating the molecule. Five to ten percent of the total core proteins in Bacillus spores are SASPs, and spores lacking over 85% of these proteins are incapable of being protected from DNA-damaging agents, such as UV radiation (60). These compounds protect the DNA for extended periods.

Though it was previously assumed that the survival of ancient microbes was restricted to spore-forming bacteria, Gram-positive staphylococci and Micrococcus spp. have also been isolated from 23- to 35-million-year-old and 120-million-year-old amber, respectively (61–63). Even more unexpected was the isolation of Gram-negative bacteria resembling Brevundimonas in 25- to 40-million-year-old amber (64). The isolation of a Gram-negative, non-spore-forming bacterium suggests that microbes have an array of currently unknown mechanisms that could be involved in their long-term survival.

In the case of amber, the availability of nutrients during the initial stages of amber formation allow entrapped bacteria to utilize compounds such as succinic acid until they later enter a state of dormancy. Thus, such compounds represent potentially invaluable resources to maintain bacterial growth during short periods of adjustment. Currently, the specific molecular mechanisms by which microbes isolated from amber become dormant and are resuscitated after millions of years are being further investigated.
