"The City on the Hill" - a post-game wrap-up of the Grand Experiment and some thoughts on the players and strategies that led to collapse amid an orgy of esoteric symbolism.

To paraphrase the new mayor-elect of New York City, ‘It is the dawn of a new day,’ an ancient and esoteric symbol of a gold or white disk emerging from behind hills or mountains, meaning cosmic renewal and spiritual initiation.

One can hardly wait to hear the Mu’adhdhin (مؤذن) [the person who calls Muslims to prayer] belting out the Adhān (أذان‎) [Islamic call to prayer] from atop the Empire State Building in an audible and symbolic raising of the flag over the former cultural and financial center of the USA. Live from New York, it’s every night from now on.

I can’t say I’m surprised. The conquest began on the 11th of September 2001, and there’s a certain poetic completeness to have the pop culture symbol of the city’s former identity overseeing its demise from atop the Hill in Washington, where the Sun first rises over the continent. The (new) York masonic rite has culminated in the transformation of base metal into gold.

In the ancient metaphor of “black is white,” the Peace President is presiding over invasions of BRICS participants, particularly those with large oil reserves like Iran, Nigeria and Venezuela. The Empire cannot allow multi-lateralism to take hold, and must deny it the energy it needs to expand.

It’s a literal orgy of occult symbolism wrapped in red, white and blue, and saluted by millions of uneducated and gullible masses yearning to breathe free. Ironically, they have chosen the ultimate enslavement as their vehicle.

Completing the ideological pincer is California, where a suffice of fraud has overridden state law to give the sheen of legitimacy to redesigning the state’s districts to ensure the putrification surrounds the heart of the nation. Death always begins in the extremities.


It does not matter whether Zohar Mamdani or Gavin Newsom are ultimately victorious. What is important is the symbolic victory of captivity over liberty. Even the facade of success is enough to encourage the cowards who cheer with trepidation from the sidelines to venture into the fray.

The dawn of this new day is profoundly melancholic, like the passing of a beloved pet or in-law. Once upon a time, there was the idea that humans could be individually sovereign and personally responsible for their successes or failures in life.

No more.

The Omnipotent State has triumphed over rugged individualism and independence of Spirit. The people have spoken, and their collective voice proclaims that they surrender their souls for the illusion of security. The sesquibicentennial struggle to throw off the mantle of servitude has been relegated to historical curiosity, as we all march in lock step into the glorious future of gilded shackles.

Double-plus good, Comrade.

Like a toddler breaking free from the parent at the supermarket, the brief sojourn as a singular creature, able to make one’s own decisions and live with the consequences thereof, has unceremoniously come to an end. It was thrilling while it lasted, but fear of the unknown and inexperience with command of one’s own destiny has led the collective back to the safety and comfort of the maternal bosom.

Perhaps in another two or three millennia, humanity will once again be ready to strike out on its own. One doesn’t hold one’s breath.

The cinematic metaphor du jour is a highly-rated Spanish film by Alejandro Jodorowsky called The Holy Mountain (1973). Written, directed and starring Jodorowsky, it follows an alchemist’s manic quest for enlightenment through riches. Pair it up with Stanley Kubrick’s final masterpiece Eyes Wide Shut (1999), for an occult tour du force that together and separately capture the zeitgeist of surrender to Faustian captivity.

Most recently, Dr. Farrell posted one of his “News & Views” segments speculating on the idea that the Louvre heist of France’s crown jewels may have been initiated by Louis Alphonse de Bourbon, known by the Légitimistes as Louis XX. Dr. Farrell launches from an article in which Louis XX promulgates the idea that he’s “ready” to assume the throne of France, just days before the heist.

In my book Paper Golem, I explored the very long history of incorporation and corporate personhood. A key concept in the development of “corporations” was the idea that the king embodied the collective lands and peoples under his rule as a single entity. To put it succinctly, when the king sneezes, the country catches a cold.

Starting in the 17th century, philosophers such as John Locke, Voltaire, Montesquieu, and Rousseau began arguing that legitimate government derived from reason, consent, and natural rights, not from God’s favor or noble blood. England’s Civil War (1642–1651) and the execution of Charles I (1649) marked the first modern overthrow of a monarch in Europe, though Oliver Cromwell’s Commonwealth only lasted until the Restoration in 1660.

The Bavarian Illuminati was a short-lived, clandestine society founded by Adam Weishaupt, a law professor at Ingolstadt (see Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein). Its goal was to oppose superstition, clerical influence, and tyranny — aims that certainly aligned with Enlightenment ideals. Members called themselves Perfectibilists or Illuminati because they sought to bring “light” (reason) to society. The group infiltrated Masonic lodges and advocated for rational governance, education reform, and secularism.

It’s easy to see why the Illuminati and Masons have been demonized for centuries. Monarchs ruled by divine right, which was maintained by religious authority—either the Vatican or the Church of England. This form of governance was anathema to Enlightenment ideals, both in all power being collectively inherited by the monarch, and in religious sanctioning of that power.

The moment of pure rebellion came with the American Revolution and establishment of a republic. Though the Republic was still sanctioned by God, it wasn’t under the auspices of any particular brand of religion, but rather by the direct “Hand of God”—Annuit Coeptis. This moment shook the Earth, since individuals (not the collective) were empowered and sovereign, and education—particularly science and math—were the foundation of Reason.

From that point on, monarchies began falling one by one: the French Revolution, the dissolution of the Holy Roman Empire, the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian and the Ottoman Empires, and ultimately the House of Romanov in Russia. World War I swept the remaining monarchies, leaving only constitutions and parliaments in their wake, even if the royal family survived as figureheads (England, Spain, Netherlands, Demark, etc.).

From these ashes rose the Corporate State. Rather than the collective body being an individual ruling by birthright, it was groups of “citizens” acting as single entities, with ownership distributed by shares sold to stockholders. Corporations acting as collective sovereign “persons” is the exact and actual definition of “fascism”—the many become one.

My thesis is that the royal families, who have survived for centuries if not millennia, are using corporations to reconstitute their kingdoms. Known variously as trusts, foundations, NGOs, or holding companies, buried deep in the ownership structure and funding mechanisms are royals slowly and methodically re-acquiring their realms as “legal entities”. By subsuming raw materials, production, and distribution, while at the same time controlling legislative, executive and judicial powers make these entities in effect monarchs, though currently in a disguised form.

What Dr. Farrell, his friend and I have noticed is a great many signs and portends that the royals are ready to reassert themselves. The restoration of palaces, the use of certain insignia, the revival of particular practices, and yes, the theft of crown jewels, all fit a pattern of resurrection.

The idea is that the royals never really went away. As a means of survival, they appeared to relinquish their thrones in favor of constitutions and parliaments, but in reality they were biding their time.

History teaches us that democracies rarely survive more than a couple of centuries, before descending into chaos and tyranny. The royals had only to wait in the shadows until the time was ripe to once again assume their hereditary positions of Divine power. They could hide behind corporate persons, slowly leaching national treasuries in the guise of “grants” and “aid packages,” amassing fantastic fortunes on the backs of taxpayers, just like the old days.

In the near future, we may very well see corporations literally take over entire nations, especially since the balance sheets of some of them far exceed the GDP of many nations. At that point, it’s a short step from Chairman of the Board to Divine Monarch.

Through careful investment and market positioning, a corporate entity could easily corral the power of AI and quantum computing to make its rule absolute—down to the molecule—thus embodying the old proverb, “In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.”

In closing, we note the involvement of royals in “climate change” and “energy transition” movements. Not only are these scams sources of trillions in funding, they also position the royals at the top of the food chain controlling earth, fire, water, and air, along with their AI and quantum assets, which by the way consume vast amounts of power to operate.

Meantime, it’s a good bet Louis XX has regained the crown jewels. After all, it would be impossible to fence such items, but a royal could pay a group more than enough to pull off the heist. In any case, it’s probably a good time to brush up on your royal curtsy and kòu tóu.

Perhaps the best cinematic metaphor for today’s topic is The Godfather: Part III (1990), Coppola’s epic conclusion to the saga of the Corleone family. Patriarch Michael is the titular king of his empire, seeking support from the Vatican to legitimize his reign, while also seeking to anoint his heir. It doesn’t get much better than this. Pair it off with Kubrick’s final masterwork, Eyes Wide Shut (1999), to see how modern royalty live in an Olympian realm far above us mere humans.

Today(while typing) life is soup, the kind your grandma makes. Your not really sure what is in it but you eat it all the same and bless her hands.

So is our dreams and meditations. Not everything is gravy.

There is an internal struggle where I never know how much to say, if anything catches your interest and seems obscure feel free to ask and I do leave out details on occasion. I may or may not answer... 

I may or may not delve into current affairs, depends on how much folk get's polarized.


That's it for an intro. So what's happening today?

I'm doing new exercises where the objective is to associate certain types of breathing techniques with elements and energy centers. There is a bunch of colors and spheres in unusual places and mixing of chakras. I was told to keep doing it and the reason for the colors will become clear. It's been two weeks and nothing to report other than that it takes all my concentration to keep connecting everything so that is interesting in itself. Very easy to drift off into wonderland.

Two recently

The first one was an execution, two shooters. The first person put a bullet through the chest, the second two through the head. It was an animal being put down.

The second, an old black dog, trapped, frozen in terror. Puss running out of it's eyes, covered in blood and wounds.

Animals both times, strange...


Grizzly stuff I know, usually it's not like this, but it happens that's why I mentioned soup and gravy.

If you dont' , it sounds like life will be made very difficult , with no bank account (goverment theft, but it's the government, so it's okay) , no access to basic life nessessities and end up homeless?

If it was just me , no loved ones to worry about, I'd just move countries now and start over off grid.

"Life's Been Good"

TRAPPIST-1 is a Red Dwarf Star that hit the headlines a few years ago with the discovery of 7 roughly Earth sized planets in orbit around the Star 3 of which are in the Star's habitable zone , obviously when the Webb telescope was launched the TRAPPIST-1 system was the favourite of Alien hunters to go explore so a team of scientists booked some time on the telescope to take a look , at just 40 light years away they could be our neighbours.
 
The observations so far haven't been promising with TRAPIST-1 b and c having no atmosphere's due to their proximity to the Sar and d likely has a thin atmosphere for the same reason , last week the results for TRAPIST-1 e were announced  ruled out a thin atmosphere or one dominated by Carbon Dioxide like Venus but there are indications TRAPIST-1e could have an Earth like atmosphere dominated by Nitrogen , water , CO2 and Methane. 

TRAPIST-1 is a small dim Star and the planet is likely tidally locked to its parent due to proximity but life could exist in the band between the light and dark side of the planet or heat from the light side could be transferred by the atmosphere so life could exist in the shade of the Star's flares , TRAPIST-1 is estimated to be up to 10 Billion years old so may not be as boisterous as it was as a youth.

15 more observations of TRAPIST-1e are planned before December so I guess the data is quite interesting , expect more detail early next year.

Humans have remote touch 'seventh sense' like sandpipers, research shows

Quote:A study by researchers at Queen Mary University of London and University College London has found that humans have a form of remote touch, or the ability to sense objects without direct contact, a sense that some animals have.

Human touch is typically understood as a proximal sense, limited to what we physically touch. However, recent findings in animal sensory systems have challenged this view. Certain shorebirds, such as sandpipers and plovers, use a form of "remote touch" to detect prey hidden beneath the sand. Remote touch allows the detection of objects buried under granular materials through subtle mechanical cues transmitted through the medium, when a moving pressure is applied nearby.

The study in IEEE International Conference on Development and Learning (ICDL) investigated whether humans share a similar capability. Participants moved their fingers gently through sand to locate a hidden cube before physically touching it. Remarkably, the results revealed a comparable ability to that seen in shorebirds, despite humans lacking the specialized beak structures that enable this sense in birds.

Results show human hands have more sensitivity than expected
By modeling the physical aspects of the phenomenon, the study found that human hands are remarkably sensitive, detecting the presence of buried objects by perceiving minute displacements in the sand surrounding them. This sensitivity approaches the theoretical physical threshold of what can be detected from mechanical "reflections" in granular material, when there is a sand movement that is "reflected" on a stable surface (the hidden object).

Do humans or robots perform better on remote touch?
When comparing a human's performance with a robotic tactile sensor trained using a Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) algorithm, humans achieved an impressive 70.7% precision within the expected detectable range. Interestingly, the robot could sense objects from slightly farther distances on average but often produced false positives, yielding only 40% overall precision.

These findings confirm that people can genuinely sense an object before physical contact, a surprising capacity for a sense that is usually concerned with objects that enter in direct contact with us. Both humans and robots performed very close to the maximum sensitivity predicted with physical models and displacement.

Why is the study important?
This research reveals that humans can detect objects buried in sand before actual contact, expanding our understanding of how far the sense of touch can reach. It provides quantitative evidence for a tactile skill not previously documented in humans. The findings also offer valuable benchmarks for improving assistive technology and robotic tactile sensing. By using human perception as a model, engineers can design robotic systems that integrate natural-like touch sensitivity for real-world applications such as probing, excavation, or search tasks where vision is limited.

What are the wider implications?
Elisabetta Versace, Senior Lecturer in Psychology and lead of the Prepared Minds Lab at Queen Mary University of London who conceived the human experiments said, "It's the first time that remote touch has been studied in humans and it changes our conception of the perceptual world (what is called the "receptive field") in living beings, including humans."

Zhengqi Chen, Ph.D. student of Advanced Robotics Lab at Queen Mary University of London, said, "The discovery opens possibilities for designing tools and assistive technologies that extend human tactile perception. These insights could inform the development of advanced robots capable of delicate operations.

"For example, locating archaeological artifacts without damage, or exploring sandy or granular terrains such as Martian soil or ocean floors. More broadly, this research paves the way for touch-based systems that make hidden or hazardous exploration safer, smarter, and more effective."

Lorenzo Jamone, Associate Professor in Robotics & AI at University College London, said, "What makes this research especially exciting is how the human and robotic studies informed each other. The human experiments guided the robot's learning approach, and the robot's performance provided new perspectives for interpreting the human data. It's a great example of how psychology, robotics, and artificial intelligence can come together, showing that multidisciplinary collaboration can spark both fundamental discoveries and technological innovation."

Researchers carried out two studies: the first, a human study assessing fingertip sensitivity to tactile cues from buried objects; the second, a robotic experiment using a tactile-equipped robotic arm and a Long Short-Term Memory model to detect object presence.

The authors are Zhengqi Chen, Ph.D. student of Advanced Robotics Lab, Dr. Laura Crucianelli Lecturer in Psychology, Dr. Elisabetta Versace, Senior Lecturer in Psychology, all from Queen Mary University of London and Lorenzo Jamone, Associate Professor in Robotics and AI at University College London.
