LSD, Ecstasy, and a Blast of Utopianism: How 1967's “Summer of Love” All Began

The Human Be-In was an event held in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park Polo Fields on January 14, 1967. This so-called “Gathering of the Tribes” drew more than 20,000 people and came to symbolize the counterculture movement of the 1960s. It featured The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Quicksilver,  and Big Brother And The Holding Company. It was a prelude to San Francisco's Summer of Love, which made the Haight-Ashbury LSD district a symbol of American counterculture and introduced the word "psychedelic" to suburbia. A new California law banning the use of the psychedelic drug LSD that had come into effect on October 6, 1966.

Going through this latest WEF document...they have so many plans for us. None of them we asked for. Skimming through it puts me in a mood to watch another dystopian sci-fi flick...is that bad?

Demolition of the West: The WEF's own Global Risk Report 2023 admits that the transition to Net Zero "adaptation will be painful for everyone" and that "the end of the era of cheap carbon energy is inevitable."


Disasters from natural hazards are among the top 3 risks, in the short term AND long term. In the next 10 years, climate-related risks occupy the first three positions.













Oh boy, they are not happy and who better to craft such a report by none other than a Swiss insurance company.

A stormy decade to come, warns the World Economic Forum Geoeconomic confrontation (wars over scarce resources), and the erosion of social cohesion are among the largest risks facing us over the next decade. Standby for heavy rolls, they'll really be kicking & screaming this year.

I found out a couple of days ago that a dear online and also RL friend passed away in October 2022.

As recently stated BIAD created a wonderful cover for my new book - (Title is secret until publication)



In 2011 I created a thread on ATS which is sort of a cliffnotes abbreviated version of the book I planned from my database of sightings which ran about 800+ sightings at that time. Currently the number stands at about 1200+ sightings in the USA for the year 1947.

The trick for finding new sightings is to visit your local library and scan your local newspapers for June July and August 1947
to find local sighting for your state that are not listed anywhere else.
If you do make the trip and find any PLEASE let me know! Thanks in advance.
