I think I just got banned at ATS

I've been hammering Josiah, DarkOwner and SimulationEvidence, who are obviously the same person, and am openly accusing him or one of his comrades as being responsible for what has happened over there.

I noticed in one thread that "DarkOwner" misspelled a word, the Internet Spelling Police called him out on it, and "SimulationEvidence" is the one that replied to it as if he were "DarkOwner", saying something like "Engrish not my first rangruage" which was a hilarious way to out himself.

I also saw a lot of folks calling "DarkOwner" out on his signature, which apparently was a tell, but I couldn't see what the sig said since I was just lurking, so I reckon I'll never know. He has since changed it because of the pounding he took over it.

But I really don't think Josiah took ATS down. I just don't think he's got the hacker chops to carry it off. There was a lot of chatter about him hacking ATS, stealing e-mail addresses from the database, and then spamming members, but I don't think he did a hack like that to get the addresses, either, for the same reason I think, personally, that he got the e-mails from spoofing a site or a Discord server (or maybe both) and attracting victims to that, collecting their e-mails as they signed up. Another big collection point he was running was to run "riddles" where people had to E-MAIL the answers to him. That's kind of a no-brainer that your e-mail address is going to be compromised the instant you send that e-mail.

He was all to eager at the time to claim credit for taking ATS down the last time - which I don't think he had anything to do with, see above - and the memory of those claims seems to have carried over to the current situation and made a sacrificial goat out of him.

Seems to me ATS as we know it is gone , there's a comment there it has turned into 4chan which would seem to be true.

Yeah, I think that poster has at least 3 sock accounts over there - all 3 use the same language and syntax, and none of them appear to be of native English speakers, or else his education level stopped at about the 3rd grade. It looks like he created that one just because he has a jones for DB - I think just thinking about DB gets him all wet and slobbery. The same account has made other accusations against DB in other threads over there.

(@DBCowboy - if you decide to respond to him, you're welcome to use that turn of phrase with my compliments)

And yeah, if you're going to look at it, look as a "guest". I'm not about to log in over there. As a matter of fact, I'm running script blockers every time I go over there just to peek at something, just in case there WAS a hack. I'm torn between replying with advising they get prof. help and or calling them out on their behaviour or just ignoring it. Difficult to know how to handle these vile people. I asked the Mods, shared my PM's and they agreed to me making a DB account.

Now I'm just a grumpy old man and once again, getting railed.

Too tired to make a new account, and they want me to respond, so I will refuse.

I've logged out of ATS, deleted cookies, used a throw-away email address so I'm not worried so much about my computer.

I've just damaged some egos, caused hurt feelz, *shrugs*

I know. I've seen some less than glowing reviews over there. Suits me. If folks don't want to come here, I'm not gonna twist their arms, and if they do, they are welcome here. Not our problem if freedom scares them. That sounds like more of a personal problem to me.

They're already linking porn sites, most of what I've seen are links to Porn Hub. Porn Hub won't let me see what they're carrying on about, because I live in Virginia. I get a neat little splash screen about how Virginia Censors don't want me viewing nasty shit, which I would not have known had they not posted the links - VA never publicized that law that I heard of, so were it not for the links, I'd have been blissfully unaware of my State censors trying to keep me safe from the ravages and mental shock and agony of seeing nekkid wimmins.

I've asked myself the question of why they don't just block the site from the internet while they work on it - maybe put up a splash screen saying "under maintenance" or something. That by itself makes me wonder if the owner(s) even still have access to the back end. If they're running Cisco equipment, their goose might be cooked.

I looked at those time frames and didn’t see any comments about Darko from the mods.

Additional, I’m having a different issue than what others are reporting. I’m logged in under my user name. I can star posts but not flag or post anything. There’s nothing wrong with my login credentials, like almost everyone else is reporting. It’s as if I’ve been post banned - but not outright banned.
