Just when I think I am ready to fall into the apathy pit hole, a Nebuchadnezzar shows up along the road on my travels through life. Or a patient like the one we had yesterday comes into my life.
I can also be a bit of a jackass to some, especially when I fall into Mama Bear mode, but apathy is something that just doesn't seem to stick around for long with me.
I guess spending my whole life being the oldest of ten, just has made it impossible for apathy to find a place in my heart or soul.
Sometimes I wish that I truly did not give a damn, but so far it remains just a wish that is nothing more than a self deception.
