Crazy thought: what if the Empire's secret goal in this scheme was not to destroy Russia, but to destroy Ukraine? BlackRock will build it back better. Morgenthau Plan 2.0? Repopulate with different people. Zelensky has stated he wants Ukraine to be like Israel. So, they divide Ukraine and use the perpetual conflict to justify their underlying agenda.
The other strange oddity and maybe this was always the plan, is weapons stockpiles from both sides US/NATO and Russia are being emptied out. What will be the new weapons to be rolled out assuming this war goes on & on? Nukes? I doubt it. Advanced ET weapons? Drones & cyborgs? Bows & arrows and trebuchet's.
