As many of us not doubt know there is allot of fake news about the war. Everything from Rah Rah Ukraine is winning to they will be defeated in the next few days; somewhere in between there is the truth. We can post videos or articles we find interesting and let those who see or read them make their own decisions.

Russian is such an ugly language IMO.. Like a Russian friend of mine once said, "No one can speak proper Russian unless you grew up in Russia!"

I entirely agree. When the same media have reared generations -certainly in Europe, to believe that true war
cripples the nations involved to the point of where things we take for granted are -not only negatively effected
-but stopped completely, we now have a 'war-torn' country taking part in international soccer tournaments and
winning AND hoping to host a Eurovision Song Contest!
People in political positions regularly visit the leader of this war-ravaged country and visa-versa for a photo-op.
An enemy is chosen for us by the same media who are somehow on the ground to benefit from such meetings.
There's a lot of human logistics involved in all these examples and yet, we're presented with the old manner of
perceiving a 'War' and assumed to accept it.

The harder I try to take this absurdity seriously, the more ridiculous it becomes. I mean on one hand some of it looks authentic, but on the other it's like watching a poorly scripted parody movie with many actors! I've heard some calling it the Law of Occam’s Brassiere.

There is so much propaganda that we have a hard time knowing exactly what is happening.. I am impressed with the use of the off the shelf $300 civilian drones and I am sure the USA can come up with their on version costing 10x the price.

I'm with you on that thought. Didn't realize the prisoner exchanges were going on.
A bloody exercise on the use of particular weapons either cheaply manufactured on the field or supplied from from other nations. Testing ground?
I'd like to know how many Russian tanks, APC's, mobile artillery vehicles and the like have been taken out in all.
No way I'd be riding in armour within that demographic after seeing these clips. I'd take my chances on two feet.

I've always viewed armor as mobile microwave ovens anyhow. Never been fond of trusting my life to any.
Soviet reliance on armor is why I knew for certain they'd have their asses handed to them if they ever "invaded" the US during the Cold War, which is why I never took any of those tales seriously in those days.

I took two years of Russian in college. Had a Russian room mate. Hung out with Russian families. For my vote, it is a difficult language to get a hold of. I never did. Just struggled.
I agree there is a lot of cheerleading sources of information out there. From Russia has been driven back to Moscow and the Ukes will be done by the end of the week.

There have been problems between the Wagner group and the Russian army for a while now as Russia has not been supplying the ammo and arms Wagner said they needed.... Get in line Wagner as the Russian Army has the same complaint !
