We say “maybe” because as Nathan Fillion and the others revealed during Washington DC’s Awesomecon, this hasn’t been picked up by a streamer yet. But the idea is for Fillion, Gina Torres, Alan Tudyk, and the rest of the living cast to reprise their roles from the cult classic series in another medium. Set between the show’s first season and the 2005 film Serenity, the show would tell more of the crew’s exploits and keep the established lore going while filling in new details about the universe.
