I just ran across this on YouTube and thought it was a teaser for bringing back Firefly one more time. Maybe a "where are they now" sort of movie that shows them getting the team back together for one last adventure
Minus the ones who died in Serenity of course.
Come to find out, it may be that they're coming out with bobblehead dolls, that's why all the nodding in the video.

Unfortunately, there will never be another episode of Firefly. The folks who own the copyrights to the show are not allowing anyone to create any more shows, or even scripts.
So what little we have now is all we will ever have of one of he finest shows to ever grace a TV set.

First he was a Firefly, then he started playing chess...he was castle-ing at first then he got downgraded to a a plain Rookie later in life.
Watched most of the shows he was in over the years.

Firefly was cool, I watched it, every episode, when it aired. Personally, as good as it was, I never thought it was as great as people here make it sound.
Fun, fantasy, and adventure. I'm tired of that. Maybe I want some hard, edgy, realistic space show that highlights the true dangers of space travel in some space-faring future. The humanoid aliens are lame. I think the movie "Alien" had the right idea about how a well-adapted alien can be a terror. The alien environments are lame, too, in most sci-fi productions. I grow tired of the Southern California desert as the backdrop of alien planets. I want an entirely alien ecosystem that is as bizarre as the one on "Avatar," except everything wants to eat or infect you.
Back in the 50s and 60s, there seemed to be a lot more fantastic aliens and alien worlds. Maybe because they weren't jaded by current scientific advances and the lack of knowledge had them reach farther. They didn't have the production that they have now, so the costumes and sets were primitive by today's standards, but they had one hell of an imagination.

Firefly was an outer space sci-fi western of sorts. Serenity was the ship but the real emphasis was the roguish cast and their storied adventures.
Here's a quick summary:
The whole season is available to buy on Prime Video for cheap. I may have some credits but for me all 14 episodes are $5.23 or if purchased separately, $1.23 each. I think I'll pick it up.
