‘Supercarrier’ and Warship Armada heading to Iran’s Backyard

Look`s like the most expensive carrier USS Gerald R. Ford has major toilet/sevage issues . To some degree i can understand it.....but what i dont understand why they send it to this mission then as U.S have 11 nuclear-powered aircraft carriers to choose.
