If it was about the money, even getting $2K is better than nothing. Maybe one day things might change and could turn the server back on. Will be tough getting the social engine running again once shut down.
We should all heed this warning and be prepared to take the consequences of what we post. DI started with good intentions, some topics do get heavy. The internet is made to communicate. Government, corporate and AI systems are improving in tracking everything going on. One day we might get an unexpected knock on the door?
I tend to agree with the majority of the above.
As to unexpected knocks at the door.
In my experience, it's best just not to answer the door to people you don't know in this day of age.
And/or get a big dog, when they see that at the window, cold-caller-wise, they tend to just move along to the next house.
