The reason you remember the "esoteric" dreams is because they align with you consciously.
Imagine a jet plane being flown by a kid. Meanwhile, you are tied to the seat of the plane, blindfolded, hands tied behind the chair with a bag over your head - headed to a certain death as well all are. The innocent child that wants to be the hero has the controls and needs help (ego)... your job is to negotiate to safety and not just with dreams either!![]()
Do not will it, just ask it/you to do it like you would with someone or something that you know absolutely has your back 100% because it is after all... you. Then wait and the answers will come.
Good luck with your journey and hope that helps. If not throw it in the bin and good luck anyways![]()
Thanks, it's a good answer but I don't agree and it's my fault for saying 'esoteric' and leaving it vague. Too much woo and people run away... I think there is an actual mechanism at play, it has a purpose, forgetting is a symptom of something else that is going on. Not sure if that explains it better. Nothing to do with aligning conscious and subconscious, there is no block.
I wonder if emotion has anything to do with it, some form of interplay between whatever does memory and emotion.
edit: maybe the issue is saying we forget, when just don't remember to start with, like the memory part is just not functional at that time
