What Document Files Do You Use?

For documents, I've mainly used Microsoft Word documents and standard text documents.  For photographs, publishers always want my book cover files as a TIFF, and other than space photographs, which benefit from lots of detail, that's all I use TIFF's for.  Jpg's are usually good enough for most things I find on the internet.
