A photoworthy moments in the sky over Tel-Aviv during today's wave of ballistic missiles launched by Iran. Interceptions from David's Sling, Arrow-3, the 2 THAAD systems deployed & operated by the US Army, and Patriot PAC-3.

Aftermath... from the hours of video I watched it sure looks like some parts of Israel suffered significant damage. A taste of Gaza?

Just a reminder: Netanyahu (& many others) have been saying that Iran is on the verge of getting nukes for over three decades.

IMO, it's not about Iran gaining a nuclear weapon. That's a smoke screen we been hearing for 40 years. Netanyahu's attack on Iran is about sparking regime change with just enough strikes on nuclear facilities to frame it as an act of preemptive self-defense. I doubt this will turn out well, but who knows. This ping-pong tactic could go on for years. Assuming the US will keep the weapons flowing to Israel, eventually Iran will deplete their inventory and I doubt Russia has any to spare.
Axios now confirming what I suspected: All the "Trump turn on Netanyahu" propaganda was deliberately planted in media to pretend like the attack wasn't imminent. The whole "Trump stopped an attack" line was fake. The great deception as they prepared an attack on Iran. They refused to come to the table, 60 days elapsed so they got shredded by Israel (according to numerous media reports). Did Iran not see that coming? In the coming days we'll find out who was better prepared.

If the US is really not involved, Trump has a strange way of showing it. The old good cop (we were not involved tactics) vs bad cop (Israel hit'em hard) routine.

This tweet does not conform to the strategy of plausible deniability. I guess that doesn't apply anymore.
Presidents come and go but foreign policy remains forever. The US is like a matador, using Israel as its cape, he induces a blind rage across the public and governments alike toward Israel/the cape, so much so the matador himself goes unnoticed.

Not like this is new as the US is using Israel as a proxy (like Ukraine) specifically to redirect blame and literal incoming missiles away from itself towards its proxy.
