Might such a massive and abrupt control input occur if the pilot were to have a massive in-flight heart attack?
I once owned a trailer in Newport News, VA, which sat right next to Jefferson Avenue. I mean RIGHT next to it, maybe a mere 15 or 20 feet off the road. A city water truck was driving down the road one day, about a week after I sold the trailer, and the driver had a massive heart attack which caused him to jerk the wheel to the right and ram the gas to the floor. He took the trailer about amidships and drove it off the foundation, snapped the hurricane anchor straps, and utterly destroyed the trailer. The only thing that prevented him from taking out the next trailer too was a tree that stood between the two which stopped the lateral momentum.
I'm thinking that there is a possibility that a massive heart attack causing some abrupt jerking motions, amplified by the control input translating those motions into a fairly powerful machine might answer that question.
