I look at and think during viewing 50s movies in more of a historical setting than entertainment. The 56 and 57 ford cars bring back memories as the 57 was my first car.

You know, that's a very good point.  I love those movies from the 1950s because of the cars featured in them.  I've always thought that the styling of the cars from the 1950s were the best and that Detroit did a bang up job during that decade.  My first car was a 1958 DeSoto, plus I had a 1957 Pontiac and later a 1954 Chevrolet.  And when I was born, my Dad had a 1956 Buick.  I literally grew up with cars from the 1950s all around.  I also currently own a 1950 Chevrolet.

A 57 Chevrolet Bel air Hard top with roll and tuck metal flake interior; 4 in the floor and sometimes a 5th under the seat. 327 or 283 H.P. with a 3/4 race cam... those were the days..
