Was okay.  Lotta talking about sightings.  Never trusted Hynek.  Specially after the Betz Sphere episode.

He was trusted with it and it returned different.  Another story.

Pity these stories rely a lot on eyewitnesses who have since passed.  Mostly 3rd or 4th party reviews.  Prefer 1st person and perhaps some pics.

Unfortunately, many of these docu's that have been coming fast & furious the past few years are just rebranded & marketed with the same crap from decades ago. Every time I do a deep dive into these past characters I find many, most were either charlatans or working for or heavily influenced by shady characters from the intelligence community. Hynek was an adept in the mystery schools religion and I'm almost certain he was a Rosicrucian or one of their spin-offs. I'm thinking that his Rosicrucian alliances (like many in 'professional' ufology) overrode all others.

J. Allen Hynek apparently told LMH (the crop circles lady) a long time ago that all the answers to the UFO mystery could be found in the pages of Rudolf Steiner's "Theosophy!" (1910, revised 1994). The book is on Archive.org and I have the recording of LMH somewhere in my trove of files.

Agree with BIAD. So many who at least appeared to be very respectable & knowledgeable hopped off the critical thinking research wagon and went straight for the money train. So many are co-opted by the intel community and/or the charlatan marketeers.

However, in the field of UFOlogy I've found you can't always throw the baby out with the bathwater. Little truth bits are intertwined in almost every story like with mythology. But as we know it's a damn labyrinth with many dead-ends and becomes quite exhausting. All the answers I think are buried back in the 40s & 50s.

The past 7 years we've seen it does not matter that they have holier than thou credentials nor how many PhD's they have nor how many decades they been in the UFO game.

When the Cold War ended the UFO hypermania went silent, it was a taboo subject for any mainstream journalist, UNTIL late 2017. Then after Russia invaded Ukraine the UFO subject went full throttle on steroids. UFOs to UAP and that term I don't think was working out like they wanted so now it's drones!
I wonder if DRONE is actually an intelligence acronym for some black project.

Wonder what it will become in 2025 with a new sheriff in Office.
