There are common elements involved in rituals like prayer and spell-casting, the nuts-and-bolts if you will. Once you have isolated those elements and know how to use them, "magic" or "divine intervention" can happen. I suspect that the scientific study of physics has begun to understand these elements.
I could explain what I am talking about in more detail, but I don't want to encourage anyone to test it. Bottom line: If you impose your will upon reality, you are going against God's will. You will bear the yoke of creation and the consequences of wearing it. All I can say is, "Be careful what you wish for; you just might get it." I don't think anyone needs that Jini out of the bottle.
