yeah i saw that, i was thinking big ass hose clamps with rubber sleeves for the scope mount, like these.

if you look at this enlarged picture of the rifle up against the fence, it sure looks like screw head just above the trigger, and the evidence one appears to be something silver looking going under the receiver behind / rear of the the trigger guard that looks like something stainless to me.
