Netflix’s White Mountains

I think we can safely assume this won't be a MILAB story. They were prominent civil rights activists in their community before they became famous.

There is a book by John Fuller based upon Dr. Simon's notes of the incident, published in 1966, and called "The Interrupted Journey". I had a link to a PDF of it, but can't recall the link. I'd post the PDF here, but am not sure of the copyright status, and so can't. You can probably find it on the internet, but it may take a diligent search to uncover it.

Since we got rid of Netflix, I'll likely never see the Netflix version that's apparently in the works.

On page 162 of the PDF will be found a scan of Betty Hill's original hand-drawn star map she was allegedly shown by "The Leader" inside the flying saucer. It pretty clearly shows the two "stars" in the foreground of the map to actually be solid bodies like planets rather than self-luminous bodies like stars, which is what set me off on my quest, and where Marjorie Fish took a wrong turn in identifying the star pattern. If they aren't stars, then of course they would not show up on any of our star maps here even if they were real.
