Moderation is present there. I'm wondering if they are trying to increase their online audience by letting previously banned members back as an experiment to see if the numbers increase. As we all know the bottom line is everything.

I don’t think the site brings in any revenue. I could be wrong.

All sites need revenue some how, don't they? Unless the owner has deep pockets.

I haven't had a good debate on there in many many years. What goes on there are heated discussions devolving into lashing out, which I don't consider debating.

Well the mods have restricted me in miniscule other ways, not sure why it's a forever thing though. But, yeah, I have such a thick and hard skin that any poisoned barbs just reflect off me now.    Well most of the time, other times two mods think I have bad manners because I too can be very pointed.

Additionally, Darko logged into the site for the first time in 4 months the very night this happened. I don’t believe that’s a coincidence. The question is, was it a mistake or intentional. Threadbare just wrote an interesting thread talking about the purge by Darko in May.

Enough personal complaints from me -- done.

But, yes Threadbare's thread is very interesting.  Everyone should read it.

And it does crack me up when "certain posters" try to debate Threadbare. He is so right and accurate about everything he posts.

I do appreciate that I can still read posts.
