I think I just got banned at ATS

I've chosen not to re-join ATS with an ANNEE2.

Waste too much time on there as it is.  I'll be back IF it comes back.

I also wrestled with that decision but I ended up thinking that my countering the vile might do some good, so far I have two friends. YAY

I'm too logical and straight forward to deal with the useless crazies.

At least I can still read posts.  We'll see how long I can hold out or ATS gets fixed.

Moderation is present there. I'm wondering if they are trying to increase their online audience by letting previously banned members back as an experiment to see if the numbers increase. As we all know the bottom line is everything.

I saw DTOM had her "Whomper Mallet" yesterday -- but it's not there today (Or I think she did.  It gets tricky if you don't check the date).

I started out with a conspiratorial mind -- but after 16 years on ATS and lurking before that -- I've found most events have factual reasons behind them.

I'm going with "locked out" -- whether from a hack or really dumb mistake.

It's weird db, there are a few new users there out to get you. Who or what did you piss off on another site?

Maybe the same person joining multiple times.

Once upon a time I wrote for Townhall.com.  Used my real name.  Up until an article I wrote merited a scathing call from Sen. Orin Hatch and subsequent death threats, not from Hatch but from others.

I then went anonymous on ATS as beezzer until more death threats and a disturbing stalking who would send me naughty photos of herself.

I asked the Mods, shared my PM's and they agreed to me making a DB account.

Now I'm just a grumpy old man and once again, getting railed.

Too tired to make a new account, and they want me to respond, so I will refuse.

I've logged out of ATS, deleted cookies, used a throw-away email address so I'm not worried so much about my computer.

I've just damaged some egos, caused hurt feelz, *shrugs*

Well I answered for you in that thread. Now I'll take the heat. Who knows maybe something I post might get through to their inner hurt little child. BTW that was good of ATS to help you with that issue.
