USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) - First in class nuclear powered aircraft carrier. Embarked airwing comprised of ~70 aircraft of varying types.




USS Normandy (CG 60) - Ticonderoga Class Guided Missile Cruiser (Part of the Ford CSG)




USS Ramage (DDG 61) - Flight I Arleigh Burke Class Guided Missile Destroyer (Part of the Ford CSG)




USS Carney (DDG 64) - Flight I Arleigh Burke Class Guided Missile Destroyer (Attached to the Ford CSG) Used SM-2 missiles to shoot down 3 missiles fired by Houthi's in Yemen on Oct 19, 2023.




USS Rossevelt (DDG 80) - Flight IIA Arleigh Burke Class Guided Missile Destroyer (Attached to the Ford CSG) Forward deployed to Naval Station Rota, Spain.




USS Thomas Hudner (DDG 116) - Flight IIA Arleigh Burke Class Guided Missile Destroyer (Part of Ford CSG)

Mk.41 Vertical Launching System / VLS (1 forward / 1 aft = 96 cells) for a mix of:
BGM-109 Tomahawk (several variations including nuclear)
RIM-66 Standard Missile SM-2MR

2 x Mk.32 surface vessel torpedo tubes (SVTT) for 6 Mk.46, Mk.50 or Mk.54 torpedos

The Navy has not disclosed the submarines taking part in this operation but I'd bet there are at least two attack and one guided missile sub in the region.

By this time next week the following will be in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea:

USS Mount Whitney (6th Fleet Flagship)
2 Aircraft Carriers (Ford on station now; Eisenhower next week)
2 Guided Missile Cruisers
7 Guided Missile Destroyers
1 Amphibious Assault Ship
1 Dock Landing Ship
1 Landing Platform Dock Ship
and a few battalions of Marines.
