Not the subject. Him personally.

I believe there's a good chance that he believes himself. But there's a fair indication that he's being a
knowing patsy for those who are looking to upgrade the ufo phenomena from the regular social classes.

I've been in that same camp of thinking. Prior to 2017 concerning Bob Lazar, Grusch seems similar imo and he may fully believe to the point he's convinced it's absolute fact. Now, unlike Lazar, these type of guys are in counterintel aka 'dirty ops' and they'll go to unbelieveable measures to plant a disinfo narrative that takes hold in the public consciousness as well as steer any adversaries (China/Russia for example) to focus on something that may be real or fake, but eventually leading to a dead end. Before long the young UAP generation won't even recognize the term UFO. Similar to Covid it serves many different purposes for the establishment.
