Here's what's arrived:
Lugol's Solution 2%
Selenium 200mcg
This stuff'll be here Friday:
Vitamin B2 100mg
Vitamin B3 500mg (Niacin Inositol Hexanicotinate)
Magnesium Powder
Unrefined Sea Salt
If this stuff makes me feel ill, how long will it last if I just stop taking it?

I take it for a thyroid condition.
Hypo or Hyper? I am Hypo and I couldn't figure out what the effect might be from the videos I listened to.

Food: Brazil nuts have varying amounts of selenium, but sometimes a single nut has a huge dose, so watch consumption of those.
Bonus!! Though, I haven't seen a Brazil nut for the past 8 years.
With such a low doses , i would not expect dramatic worsening ,feeling bad , and iodine itself will be mostly out in 24 hours anyway after stop taking . There is no allergy to iodine, it is essential mineral .
The most important thing is taking iodine and selenium together, they work as team . Taking iodine alone would be something i would not recommend.
And in your case as hypo i`s important to go really slowly . With Lugols drops it`s easy to adjust dosage .Lugol's Solution 2% has 2.5 mg in one drop .
So you could use one drop to glass of water and use that to 2-3 days . That`s even smaller dosage is earlyer talked. We can compare then that to what is officially mentioned in Japan as iodine tolerable upper limit :
Adequacy of iodine intake in three different Japanese adult dietary patterns: a nationwide study
Quote:The median habitual iodine intake was shown to around 850 to 1000 μg/day and a review estimated that the iodine intake for Japanese individuals was 1000 to 3000 μg/day [9, 10]. According to the Dietary Reference Intakes 2015 for Japanese (DRI) [11], the tolerable upper intake level (UL) is set as 3000 μg/day in Japan, which is higher than that of other countries (e.g., the UL for American adults is 1100 μg/day
tolerable upper intake level (UL) is set as 3000 μg/day in Japan ( 3mg )
It would be good have clinician/doctor have to check your thyroid blood values later , once the thyroid will get more iodine the values might change and might to have less medication . Best or ideal if you had a doctor with the iodine protocol . thought i never had personally doctor and taked very big dosages , and i had body toxicity issues also in general .
Iodine for Hypothyroidism: Crucial Nutrient or Harmful Toxin?
Vitamin C is also good to have with iodine protocol, but to not take them same time , i dont remember the details but vitamin C
somehow reacts with iodine making it less powerfull if taken together, no issue if take separately .
Most people`s body is starved of iodine , causing thyroid problems and other issues also. Iodine can also prevent womens breast cancer . So i really sense there is some sort of conspiracy around this stuff.....the goverment/health officials claim people dont need it much and same time World is polluted with other halogens that distrupt iodine, not to forget that brains with too much fluoride is making people dumb ugh so they want to regulate this essential mineral hmm...
Years ago i thought...nope sorry i dont buy that story....and then just started taking it.
There is rare condition , hot nodules in thyroid . It would not be good to take iodine in that case .
I may PM you link with information page later
