So it's not shutting down anytime soon.

It's not so much that we're used to you as it is that we're just... scared of you! We're pretty sure you have a nail gun, and are not afraid to use it.

It looks to me like there may have been some back-room dealing going on over there. I noticed it wasn't TSK who posted the news. Either way, I'm cool with it, and glad they could find a way to stay afloat. Folks get used to a thing, and then they don't want to light anywhere else and they get out of sorts if their perch is pulled. I can understand that, as a creature of habit myself.

Besides, the more the merrier - isn't that what they say?

I have good news and potentially better news:
The good news is that DI's hosting was paid for a whole year by a kind friend of the forum, so we aren't going anywhere soon.

Oh goodness.   There are three members over there who think they are spectacular but in reality are just trolls.  If any of them end up being moderators the place will empty out.   seriously.   It will be interesting to see what happens with this.
