Radar detected a fast-moving object that was in a holding pattern directly above the Hanford plant. It was extremely high and the pilots couldn't see it at first. As they rapidly increased altitude the pilots all spotted it at about the same time and headed directly for its position. None of them could recognize it, but they could see it well from their vantage point. It had a saucer-like appearance, was bright, extremely fast, and very high. The F6F had an operating ceiling of 37,000 feet, but on this day they exceeded that considerably and still couldn't get close enough. It didn't make any overt moves, gave no signals, just hovered there as if observing, staying well enough out of reach. When some of the engines began to fail, and fuel consumption got critical, the planes returned to base one by one, and the strange craft disappeared as quickly as it came. The six F6F "Hellcats" made visual contact with the object described as the size of three aircraft carriers side by side, oval shaped, very streamlined like a stretched-out egg and pinkish in color. The witness who filed this report said that some kind of vapor was being emitted around the outside edges from portholes or vents. The object was observed at noon in a clear sky at an estimated altitude of 65,000 feet. After hovering in a fixed position above the Hanford Nuclear Reactor for an additional twenty minutes, the object disappeared going straight-up as the six Hellcats limped back to the Pasco Naval Air Station (Washington).

The odd thing about the 2nd one is - there are some odd looking dark spots in the sky.

- None of the other dozens of photos I downloaded from there have any dark spots in the sky or anywhere else in the photos.

- All of the other photos are of the Plutonium plant itself or building or roads or objects.

This is the only photo taken of NOTHING.

- All photos of this plant were classified at the time and have remained so for the last 50 years.

- My question is then 'Why did someone take an eraser or chemical agent on a brush and try to remove the main black spot?

Personally I suspect this photo was taken on the day of the Saucer invasion and someone was told to get their camera quick!

Why else would we have a perfect photo of NOTHING front and center other than UFO's in the sky!

Any of our imaging exoerts here care to take a whack at adjusting the contrast to show us what was originally seen in the photos before someone tried to erase it?

I also think much about the fact that good and evil are very fluid, sometimes I think of things long ago that were seen as evil but now are seen as good. For me hindsight does not bring answers but questions about how fluid good and evil are and how easily interchangeable they are.
How easily we let good and evil be decided by politics. Perhaps the only thing that can decide what is good or evil is us, but if we do then we must take the reasonability for that decision.
Is this the reason we dont make the decision and let others make the decisions for us.

What is a good doctor is not a new question, its very old, but I think its a question that we have forgotten to answer or even ask.

The distribution of iodine tablets suitable for children under 3 years of age will start in the welfare area of Southwest Finland in week 23. The product will also be supplied to the appropriate health care units for administration to young children.

In November 2022, the Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority STUK announced that public health services will purchase iodine tablets suitable for children under 3 years of age. The iodine tablets will be distributed from paediatric clinics, as there is currently no potassium iodide strength suitable for administration to children under 3 years of age available in pharmacies.

The distribution of iodine tablets will start in week 23 in the South-West Finland welfare area. The iodine product to be used is 'Potassium iodide G.L. Pharma 65 mg 10 tabl'. The clinics in the region will have their own times to collect the product. The collection times for iodine tablets will be published on Monday 5 June 2023 on the varha.fi website at www.varha.fi/lasten-joditabletit. If you have already booked an appointment with a clinic within one month of the start of the distribution, you will receive the iodine product at the time of your appointment and will not need to make a separate visit. In future, the product will be distributed to parents of newborn babies at the first antenatal visit.

The iodine tablets are accompanied by detailed instructions for use and are kept at home as a precautionary measure only.

For children over three years of age, pregnant women and adults up to 40 years of age, iodine tablets are purchased from the pharmacy itself, following the STM guidelines (pdf)

When should iodine tablets be used?

The first line of defence in a radiological emergency is to shelter in place. This is the most effective way to reduce radiation exposure.
