Rolling Stone has now updated their article, and removed the quote from the DHS official saying "they haven’t heard any noise since yesterday."

Ok, this might sound strange, but if I were a Hollywood scriptwriter I’d say the missing element to the Titanic submersible story is non terrestrial intelligences successfully conducting a rescue of the billionaire's and the rest of the submersible crew, followed by Navy SEAL testimonials.

You know half the time things like documents "obtained" by magazines and newspapers are given directly to a specific reporter to be word-smithed a certain way to influence an outcome. So what I’m saying is there is perhaps some weirdness to come with this story, 80's movies.
