So the countries with the highest IQ, not sure how they measure IQ (is any method of measuring IQ really the right way to do it?) are Japan and Taiwan and Japanese people practice 1% fluoridation of their water but the children participate in a fluoride mouth-washing program. Taiwan is the second in the world with highest IQs and they do not add fluoride to water but monitor the natural levels of fluoride in their water.
So there may be something to it. However I have issues with how IQ tests don't include other mental gifts, such as creativity, practical intelligence (how things work), curiosity, etc. Then I think of Albert Einstein and his big curiosity and imagination.
