I've Been Gone Too Long

I want to apologize for my long periods of silence. 

Recently, my wife and I have taken in my Mother. She has dementia and Alzheimers. Things have been challenging to say the least. What's worse, this is our second go around. We did the same for my wife's Mother until she passed. 

We are in the process if developing some sort of new routine at home. So far, this has not included extensive periods of time I can devote to RN3. I feel bad about it because I am missing out on plenty of opportunities to get worked up about stuff and bang away on the keyboard. 

I have not updated the garden or prepper thread with any updates from the ol' homestead.    

Hopefully (or not depending on your POV) I will start to smooth things out here soon. You guy's are great

not to put words in others folks mouth, but i'm fairly sure that everyone here would say it's not a problem.
real life and family come first, do what you have to to take care of them then worry about us.
if our gardens grow they grow, if they don't, they don't, momma comes first.

Oh lord, I really cannot imagine what you're going through. Hope you're able to get some sort of routine worked out and if you're MIA the whole summer I (I'm sure everyone here) completely understand.

You do what you need to do.  And make sure you set aside time for just you and your wife too, as you know already, it gets stressful having someone else there, to take care of.

I appreciate all the input. It has been trying. 

There has been some disturbance to the zen at the ranch though. We are a quiet bunch and live in the woods. My Mom is the type that needs entertainment. Continually. I am trying hard to adjust to that. 

And she likes watching network news. Keeping my mouth shut is difficult.
