I'm hearing nothing about any firing, just a couple incidents where Chinese ships have crossed the bow of US ships in international waters at ramming distance, and incidents where Chinese fighter jets have buzzed US airplanes within 400 yards or so. Chinese provocations, but no firing being reported yet.

With that said, international waters are international. If a state actor wants to act like pirates in international waters, then they ought to expect to get their asses shot at, like happens to pirates some times.

Yea, the vid title is clickbait. As to "Chinese warship cut across the bow of an American guided-missile destroyer" that incident happened last month.

This was posted 11 days ago, but we've heard nothing about it yet beyond this video:





This YouTube channel seems pretty interested in talking up a war with sensationalized titles ("War Begins!", "Battle Begins!", etc), but when you watch the videos, they're just more of the same, and bear no real relationship to their titles.

Meanwhile, in other news, Vietnam is blocking the new Disney "Barbie" movie from showing in Vietnam because a map shown in it has China's "Nine Dash Line" on it, where China claims Vietnamese territory inside their line.

It's expected that Vietnam would protest that, but what I find fascinating is that Disney seems to be trying to push Chinese claims in one of their kids movies. Remember "product placement" in movies? I wonder if China is paying Disney to have their product placed, or whether they just own Disney's soul now...

Like many companies who want to do business in China they have to suck up to the CCP or get banned. Movies, NBA, and no telling what else have all succumbed to the lure of profits.

Also after checking around I think both those videos are click bate and untrue. Now the question becomes why post such crap ?

No mate, this one a few days ago and the other one posted by @"Ninurta"#2 a little while back.  I didn't click them as they both looked sus and were days old.  Have no idea of the content but think it might just be bait.

The two chairmen asked the U.S. State Department and the CIA to provide their committees with a classified briefing on the matter by July 14.

The spy base in Cuba is part of the Chinese regime’s overseas base project. According to a Washington Post report, Beijing plans to build at least five overseas military bases and 10 logistics support bases by 2030. This plan is called “Project 141” by the Chinese military.
