I have family members and friends with children that are autistic. I thought that I was fairly knowledgeable about autism, but I was wrong. When I looked at autism globally, I realized how wrong I was.

I always thought America had the largest population of autistic children. I never thought past America. I am looking at autism with a new set of eyes.

In recent years, cases of autism have risen. The Center for Disease Control announced in 2021 that the rate of autism in the U.S. during 2018 was 1 child in 44. This is a notable rise from rates given in Scientific American, for 2016 (1 in 68, though other sources claim an even-higher 1 in 54 by age 8), 2008 (1 in 88) and 2000 (1 in 150). Moreover, this trend of rising autism, which dates back to the early 1990s, is a global occurrence not confined to the United States. Prevailing theories suggest that the rise is largely due to increased awareness and diagnosis of autism rather than a massive increase in overall occurrences of autism. However, autism is more likely in babies with older parents, who are more common in today's world, and in babies born prematurely, who survive more often now than in previous eras.

I have a 700 page book published in 1994 by the American Academy of Pediatrics referred to as the authoritative guide on all things developmental, birth to age 5, that doesn't even have the word in it. Apparently, they didn't think Autism was an important developmental problem at the time, in spite of the fact they changed the criteria to supposedly make it more encompassing that very year. (That's what we're told anyway.)
 
Interestingly however, my psychology book published 3 years earlier did indeed mention Autism. That's the picture of page 618 (click image to enlarge) and this is what it says:
 
"Autistic disorder is rare, occurring in fewer than five children per ten thousand births, but with few exceptions (Lovaas, 1987), it leads to a life of marginal adjustment, often within an institution."

Whatever happened, happened globally. Which makes it even more suspect. 

I don't pretend to know the answer, but I think it is something that we should be looking at very closely.

If it is natural, then mother nature is trying to tell us something. If it is the result of man screwing up, which we are so damn good at, then it is not something that should be swept under the rug.

We spend so much time, energy,  money, and angst, over BS, yet we bury our heads in the sand, when it is really important.

Seem like the authoritys , politicians, " health experts"  continue business as usual as the numbers go from bad to worse each year. All those are controlled by big pharma, agricultural corporations ,WEF etc...they dont care, since their job is not to help people or society.

Two things I would suspect on the manmade front:
1. GMO foods.
2. Aspartame

The other thing that's (maybe) screwing up the numbers: Big $$$

Remember when diabetes wasn't a thing. People died from it and didn't even know what was killing 'em. Now people are diagnosed as pre-diabetic. It's BIG money.

My friend's daughter is some kind of Autism Specialist (PhD type). She rakes in more money than I would have guessed possible. She's not curing anybody of anything ... and yet she's gettin' paid. And, you know what she's gettin' paid ... compared to who's paying her ... is just a fraction.

I was talking to a lady at church today. She told me her grandson has autism. She said she did not believe people when they blamed autism on vaccines, but her grandson was bright, active, smart, and funny. She said they gave him some vaccines when he was two years old, several hours later she said he had a high fever, and became very weak, and drowsy. She said they took him to the ER and they said it was not uncommon for a child to have a fever and feel sleepy after getting their vaccines. My friend said he was never the same after that.

This was almost the same thing that happened to a relative of mine.

But in both situations the doctors claim there is no proof that the vaccines had anything to do with their children developing autism. And they could not tell them why they developed autism but showed no signs until after the vaccines.

Some children seem to be born with autism. And it looks like some people are blaming Tylenol.

If autism is vaccine related, you can bet your bottom dollar somebody is very well aware of it by now.

And doctors? Doctors only really know what they've been taught or told. They pretty much follow the mainstream. Did you see what happened to the ones who rocked the COVID Lie Boat?

I wonder if we will ever know the truth.

As someone in the past with a different “condition” who fell through the cracks of lack of information and understanding, I give a lot of weight to these prevailing theories that things can be more prevalent now due to increased awareness and diagnosis. In other words, it would have been nice if what we know now could have been known back then and I see this applicable across the board in just about everything.

If nature is at play, my first thought is that it would have to have something to do with possible adaptions needed for our survival in the future.

One problem with that idea is the belief that our brain function and our need for social interaction plays a large part in our adaptation process. But autistic people are commonly anti-social. So I think that would throw a monkey wrench into the game, or it may be a bit telling about we may be facing in the future.

That vial contains 0.5 mL, which is 1/2000th of a liter. The label specifies the aluminum concentration as "up to" 100 mcg/L. 1/2000th of 100 mcg is about a half of a nanogram. Folks probably get more aluminum exposure just walking through their kitchen.

Still, I've never understood why they use "pharma grade" vitamin K, when they could just use natural phytonadione. It's cheap, and it's freely available without a prescription, unlike vitamin K. It's what I used a few years ago in an emergency, and it worked like a charm to restore blood clotting ability. in the face of a warfarin overdose by a loved one who refused medical treatment for it. "Phytonadione" is just the non-pharma name for the same thing, vitamin K, and it's sourced almost entirely from plants. Back then it could be picked up OTC at GNC, no prescription needed, and as far as I know it still can be today.

What needs to be pointed out here, and understood, is that when someone tells you "there is no evidence for that" in regard to anything at all, what they are not saying - but what is emphatically implied - is that there is also no evidence for the contrary. If there WAS any evidence to the contrary, they would be quick to point that out. What they are really saying is "there needs to be a lot more study of the matter so we can say for sure one way or the other".

That applies to not only just this subject, but to ANY "scientific"  claims - from "climate change" right down to "fuel economy".

Natural vitamin K forms are good ,  i also find out that some popular vitmain K supplement brands , like life extension ...have poor quality having not much k2 as all-trans form , but having about half or less it and other half in CIS form .
