Woke up after a deep sleep. Only 1 toilet trip. Big fat shed. No headache. Had to drive to town. Plenty of water. Wore me out. Light headed.
Afternoon up and down. Muscles aching around the upper chest and armpits. Was good for a while then started crashing.
After this day which started good and I was feeling confident I'm going to bed to face the 7th day whereupon I'm chucking the fasting in and starting a carnivore diet so officially it will be 6.7 days.
I'll be hitting the mattress soon and will be up at 4am to see truey off to work.
I think I'll make a breakfast of eggs, cooked sliced kabana and perhaps some cheese. My body is now weak and feeling the pain. Hope I shed some fat tonight.
We'll see.
Kind regards,

6.7 days is hella good
Body metabolism tend to slow down in any longer fasting , meaning body adjust to energy saving mode ,like the ancestors did when they were days without food....it`s in our DNA to do that, to survive . The side effect of that is loosing weigh can also then go harder with metabolism acting slower .
I am now in 5 day in my Intermittent fasting , today was litle bit longer fasting , 21.5 hours because i was out from home.
Btw , with Intermittent fasting the body metabolism wont slow down if just eat enough good nutrious food in the eating window and do litle exercise also....
Yeah, thanks again. I'll be doing that. Are you feeling better? Had the best nights sleep. Woke up, no headache. Strange. But I'm hungry. Later when the sun rises I'll see what I can put together.
Kind regards,
Bally.
Yeeh feels like much better now, joints/ muscles not much issue anymore , but i will still continue fasting to make sure full recovery .
Hopefully i will never again have shingles again...it was really terrible experience![]()
Have fun with food Bally
Day 7.......
Yeah cheers mate,
Glad you're okay. Shingles by all the accounts I've heard can be debilitating. They offer vaccines for free here but I won't touch those. No food for me.
Well, if you bare with me I will continue. I went to bed after my last post. Had to get up at 4am for truey to help her get ready for work. Pack her lunch, drinks etc. When she leaves I stay up to 6am in case she rings home with a problem during to drive to work (roos, cows) as she has collided with animals in the past. At about 6.15am I figured she had got to work and was fine so I hit the mattress.
I feel asleep. No dreaming. I heard a loud voice yelling "Steve,,,, Steve." As I was sleeping downstairs on a mattress I popped up from under the blanket. It was my neighbour Al. I replied to him. He was worried about me as he said he had seen no activity on the farm. I asked, "What time is it?" He answered, "It's after 12" (midday). I went "Bullshit" He "No I've been up before, looking to take the rubbish away" (nother story).
My sleep was dreamless. Like I was under anaesthetic. Kinda like I went to sleep and woke up not knowing WTF.
I got up and Al stayed. Made a coffee and gave him a beer. Looked at the kitchen and said, "If truey gets home I need to tidy up"
I had no headache, no sinus pain and felt lighter in weight. While I did the chores I didn't feel fatigue. After Al's 3rd beer truey came home from her shift. Made her a drink. Al went home. While she relaxed I continued tidying up then looking at the clock I proclaimed it's been 7 days.
I had a Bourbon and water. I felt great. I cooked truey some dinner but didn't partake. Truey remarked I looked different. Not like a 'boombah' anymore. It's really noticeable mate and only 7 days. Surpassess any other diet I've been on that took some months.
I feel good. So later we were watching a cooking show on TV. Of all things they were cooking sardines. And, while I thought I could continue, nup, treated myself to a small tin of sardines and another small tin of mussels. Bit of cheese chucked in. Small Bourbon and water. Water at about 70 percent. Yummo. Felt a little different. Burps. About less than 15g of carbs. That's it until tomorrow.
So I reached 7 days. Now for a week on low carbs.
This experiment seems to have worked and to be truthful, after what I learned pre starting I was skeptical. Still have a small bit of gut to go bot if I feel better in the morning I'll get back to some physical stuff.
If you do not like feeling hungry and/or sick, headache, cramp, muscle soreness, dizzy at times and broken sleep. I would not recommend. But I am older and would have a body composition different to many others.
Satisfaction is, I have truly lost fat, a lot. Didn't think this would work.
I also thank Rogue Nation for letting me log and record the weeks journey which I'll copy and keep in a diary.
Kind regards,
Bally)
