Absolutely!! At least I did for many years. The only way to live & have a comfortably life in Hawaii is you either work for the federal gov't (which I was offered two, BUT had to decline because my wife was diagnosed as allergic to the tropics, and had to move back to the mainland. So DEPRESSING) or a mid to high level position in the tourism industry...unless you're the entrepreneur type, which I'm not. However, as the world flipped & went mad circa 2020 I don't have any desire for Hawaii anymore. Visit sure. So, unless I win the lottery or get a huge inheritance it will just be a fantasy dream of warm sandy beaches, pineapples & beautiful women. Oh well, such is life.

Yep, maybe one day I'll return to Hawaii. Just don't have that urge like I use to years ago. Actually, my wish list is about 3,000 miles south of Hawaii around south pacific islands. I'd like to spend 6 months island hopping.
