Most of China's bomber bases do in fact have aircraft shelters. They may not be hardened shelters, but you can't just use commercial or 3rd-party imagery to do easy drone/missile targeting, as the aircraft are at least hidden from overhead view.

The Economist: "Iran is now earning nearly twice as much from oil sales each day as it did before American and Israeli bombs started falling on February 28th. It may be pummeled on the battlefield, but the regime is winning the energy war. That end of the journey is almost always China, which absorbs over 90% of Iran’s oil. The buyers are 100-odd small “teapot” refineries in Shandong, in the country’s north."
How Iran is making a mint from Donald Trump’s war
Got a good chuckle from this guy's comment on the Economist article:
The DCF he's referring to is Discounted Cash Flow in financial analysis, is a method used to value a security, project, company, or asset, that incorporates the time value of money. Discounted cash flow analysis is widely used in investment finance, real estate development, corporate financial management, and patent valuation.
You thought by signing the Abraham Accords in 2020 the US was going to save you?
We know how it can hurt when a community loses its mall. A country that is nothing but a mall, and is going out of business, we've never seen that happen before. [sarc]

Iran may end up destroying everything on the other side of the Persian Gulf, which will result in years of global economic depression at varying levels.
Did someone forget it's Monday morning? Because if this is what calming the market looks like after a month then things must be worse than even I'd thought.
Barbara Walters interviewing Trump from 1987: How would you do that? Would you send in the Marines? Would you take a chance on a war?
Trump: Let'em have Iran. You take their oil.
Walters: But how?
Trump: You're gonna have a war by being weak and it's going to start in the Middle East.
Walters: The Soviet Union said if you do this to Iran, we're going to come in.
Trump: I don't believe they'd do it. The next time Iran attacks this country, go in and grab one of their big oil installations and I mean grab it and keep it.

Funny, when it's the US, Israel, and the West, it's called "government".
But when it's Russia, Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, and China, it's called "regime".
When it's the US, Israel, and the West, it's called "preemptive strikes".
But when it's China, Russia, and Iran, it's called "aggressive attack".
When it's the US, Israel, and the West, it's called "defense".
But when it's China, Russia, and Iran, it's called "retaliation".
When it's the US, Israel, and the West, it's called "intervention".
But when it's China, Russia, and Iran, it's called "invasion".
When it is the US and the West, they are called allies.
When it is Iran, China, or Russia, they are called axis of evil.
Control the media and you'll control the people.

It appears Trump has no exit ramp out of this war so the deadline keeps getting pushed forward. When you beat a hornets nest with a bat and then throw down the bat, the hornets will keep on stinging...fight to the death, martyrdom.

The last time something like this was done was in covert Project Sapphire in 1994. 600kg of HEU in about 2,200kg of packaging required 12-14 hour days, six days a week, for a month (Oct 14 - 11 Nov). But it was different packaging from what would be expected in Iran and Sapphire wasn't done with resistance.

Basically the Iranian material would likely be slightly easier to remove from a pure lifting-heavy-objects perspective, but I've heard that lifting heavy objects is harder when everyone around is shooting at you. And the specialized Nuclear Emergency Recovery Team is not accustomed to being shot at.
On the flip-side this may all be putting out by the Trump administration as a decoy. The question is: what are they really looking to do?

How Iran is making a mint from Donald Trump’s war
Got a good chuckle from this guy's comment on the Economist article:
Quote:The five-second epistemology of the monks explaining women.
The Economist. The seminary on Mount Bloomberg. The monastery where the monks have taken vows of abstinence from the physical market. The monks who have never seen a barrel of oil in person explaining oil to you. The monks who have never touched a tanker explaining tankers. The monks who have never stood at a dock explaining dock prices. The monks in the monastery explaining women. The monks who have taken vows. The monks who have seen diagrams. The monks who have read about it in the sacred texts of the discounted cash flow model. The monks who know through the miracle of one true Fed chair Jerome Powell almighty and his one holy and apostolic Federal Reserve what a woman looks like without having met one. The power of the DCF. The DCF that models the woman from the monastery. The DCF that knows the shape of the curve without touching the curve.
How Iran is making a mint from Donald Trump’s war. The Economist. Charging you to learn what the kitchen published for free thirty days ago. The monks selling you a course on intimacy from behind a registration wall. The seminary that has never seen a toll booth explaining the toll booth. The seminary that has never heard Ghalibaf da Gangsta ask if they can print gas molecules explaining Iran’s economy. The seminary that has never processed a ship through the managed corridor explaining the managed corridor. The kitchen has been at the dock. The kitchen has been at the toll booth. The kitchen has been in the Strait. The monks have been in the monastery reading Bloomberg terminal scripture and modeling the woman from the DCF.
The rial strengthened 11% against the dollar while being bombed. Steve Hanke at Johns Hopkins called it remarkable. The kitchen called it theology. The monks at the Economist are now calling it a briefing. Behind a wall. Register. It’s free. Free the way everything the monastery offers is free. Free the way the vow of poverty is free. Just give us your email. Just enter the database. The monks collecting your information the way the IRGC collects at the toll booth. Except the IRGC gives you passage. The monks give you a diagram of a woman drawn by a man who has never seen one. Modeled in the DCF. Discounted to present value. The present value of the woman as determined by the monks of Mount Bloomberg.
There is one monk they say is mythical. The elder. He has never seen a physical barrel. But through the miracle of Jerome Powell almighty he knows. He knows the shape of the supply curve. He knows the demand elasticity. He knows the forward structure. He has modeled the woman from first principles. The other monks revere him. The other monks cite him. The other monks call him the heretic from the monastery — except in the monastery the heretic is the one who has actually seen a barrel. Rory Johnston the heretic from Toronto. Tracy Shuchart the heretic from Florida. The heretics who have seen the woman. The monks who haven’t. The heretics nailing theses. The monks selling courses.
Ghalibaf da Gangsta asked if they can print gas molecules. Can they print a woman from a DCF model. Can they print a barrel from a monastery. Can they print intimacy from a registration wall. The kitchen has been at the dock. The monks have been at the Bloomberg terminal. Some monastery. Some monks. Some DCF. Some never seen one. Some charging for the diagram. Day 30.
The DCF he's referring to is Discounted Cash Flow in financial analysis, is a method used to value a security, project, company, or asset, that incorporates the time value of money.
