I don't buy into the popular mainstream academic theories either. Cutting stone like granite & dolomite is one thing, but such straight edge & flat surface accuracy within 1/1000 and some 1/10,000 inch is a whole other unknown advanced technique and with some megaliths so accurate they didn't need to use mortar. Then there is also those large stones that appear to be melted & 'molded' into shape.
The hall of records under the Sphinx paw, lost library under the sea, or a desert, beneath the Vatican, or maybe the megalithic secrets are within the Akashic records.
