I PMd Kenzo before checking the thread. Told him I could feel the Selenium kick my metabolism up a notch.
Hopefully I'll sleep good tonight. I came in pretty darned bushed. Not to mention an @"dbcowboy"#133 approved Bourbon supplement.

I read that taking Selenium when you're Hypo can lead to some problems. The least of which is going really Hypo. Other times it can be the lead-in to a surgical adventure. All seems to be mitigated if you take Iodine and Selenium together.
Everything is just fine. I'm going to double my Iodine uptake tomorrow a.m. to 25mcg ... see how that goes ... then do 50mcg on Saturday, 100mcg on Sunday and top-end @ 150mcg for 90 days. I figure as long as I've got the Selenium and I can keep my kidneys flushing, I should be right in the groove for this little test. Never hurts to see what real science can be done all by one's self. If this works, I want to share what I learn with my daughter. And, if all goes really really well, maybe she'll make me a grandpa finally.
I also feel that taking selenium together with iodine is what works .
In early 1900s or so people had more iodine , just because World did not yet had fluoride and bromine messing up against it, and food also most likely had more iodine .
