One thing, it will boost one's metabolism. If one is looking to lose weight, try 200 mcg a day for a month.
Food: Brazil nuts have varying amounts of selenium, but sometimes a single nut has a huge dose, so watch consumption of those.

Yeeh agree too much is not good either . I think 200-300 mcg is usually enough .
There could be areas /places where food gives enough selenium .
