Growing up poor in the country, taught me the power of community working together. Growing up in a military home, near a military base, taught me that there are a lot of people that don't look like me on the outside, but are just like me on the inside.

I truly wonder what makes us tick. We are social beings that do not understand our spiritual connection to our planet. We want to be liked and accepted by others, we want to be seen as the same, yet we also want to be special, different from, sometimes better than.

If we ever truly understand us, maybe the rest will fall into place.
