not to get all biblical, but until the third temple is built and animal sacrifice resumes , and the anti christ who ever he turns out to be stands in it and makes peace in the world does the tribulation start.

there are many different views on the time frame,who, what, when, and how, most all that are not out in left field agree  on this.

it could be that this is the start  that leads to war that is spoken of in Daniel 9: 20-27 which fit into the the anti christ committing the abomination that causes desolation.

imo until the thrid temple is built, blood sacrifice resumes and the red heifer sacrificed there can be no start to the tribulation, it's not biblical.

not to start no stuff, but i also believe that Christians that are alive will still be here and suffer during the tribulation.
Christ only comes twice in the bible, not three times. once when born, once when he calls the believers.
i base this on Jesus's words in Mathew 24 not Paul's letters. Jesus doesn't say he will come once for the believers then come back and kick butt latter. if so why say, don't believe those that say he's over here or he's over there, or tell people to flee to the mountains, or not go back to get your stuff, or immediately after the tribulation he will send his angels for the elect,

29 “But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory. 31 And He will send forth His angels with a great trumpet blast, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.
