As someone in the past with a different “condition” who fell through the cracks of lack of information and understanding, I give a lot of weight to these prevailing theories that things can be more prevalent now due to increased awareness and diagnosis. In other words, it would have been nice if what we know now could have been known back then and I see this applicable across the board in just about everything.
