Well, it has already begun. Now they need to march out the Pope and some Islamic "leaders" along with some TV evangelists to promote it.
I'm sure the pope will be first in line, probably before the end of the month. Pretty much anything he says publicly goes directly against church canon and this will be no different, in fact I'm almost certain that is why the last pope stepped down and he was chosen to replace him to begin with.
As an American it's your responsibility to have your own strategic duck stockpile. You can't expect the government to do it for you.
