One of my favourite movies is The Parallax View, nothing to do with this thread -one might think when looking
at today's media narratives, But in the film, the main character - a Journalist, visits an ex-FBI agent and asks
how he can acquire a fake identity to further his investigation.
The FBI guy tells him to construct two identities -the first to hide a shameful experience in his past and a second
identity to shroud who he really is. The ex-FBI chap's comment is that if this organisation the Journalist wishes to
infiltrate checks into the Journalist's background and discovers the reason for the fake identity, they may not be
so attentive to check the second identity.

There's a TV channel in the UK called 'GB News' and it performs just like many other broadcasters with their
format of delivering supposedly 'fair-minded' information via On-The-Spot reporting and persuadable visuals.
Of course, mornings on UK televisions tend to have a smiling couple (usually a male and a female) sat at a
long desk, easing the waking public into the workday with well-honed narratives of how the world is going to
hell in a handbasket and the viewers are at fault for letting it.
One of these Presenters for this channel is an elderly and a well-versed lady of the British airwaves called
'Anne Diamond' and some time ago, she disappeared from her regular four-morning slot with her fellow-host
Stephen Dixon.
This morning and with my better-half noticing this retreat of the Presenter, I took a quick glance across the
internet to appease the Goddess I married almost forty years ago.
The Sun Newspaper:
10th February 2023.
'Why is Anne Diamond not on GB News?
'...It has been reported that Anne is not on GB News at the moment due to contracting coronavirus.
It is not known when she will return to the show...'
Reported by who?!
Cruise & Travel:
3rd February 2023.
Journalist and broadcaster Anne Diamond shares the tragic family story and the life-saving campaign
that led to her receiving an OBE earlier this year, along with some lighter moments from interviewing
a host of celebrities on Viking.TV
'...You’re a familiar face for regular viewers of Viking.TV – what have been some of your favourite moments
of presenting over the past couple of years?
There have been stand-out, pinch-me moments and I’d hate for any of my wonderful interviewees to feel they’re
not as brilliant as the next, because each one has an utterly remarkable story to tell and I like to think I get the
best out of them!...'
Isn't strange how many of the public trust the faces on the screens and accept them into their homes as regular
people who are perceived like friends and acquaintances? These grinning mouth-pieces have careers they need
pursue and the product that comes from their lips is merely a lubricant to enhance that employment -if they have
the verbal skills to enthral an audience.
Once again, Donald Trump was correct when he said they aren't sending their best and the ex-FBI character in a
fictional political movie should be rolling his eyes on how superficial these Presenters are when convincing an
increasingly-jaded public that they are there for them.
