Almost forgotten memories. Took my kids to this once years ago. Joy & smiles from ear to ear. We stayed at a friends house in Manzanita beach. Did alot of hiking & beach walking all around that area and scenic Cape Meares. Probably have a few hundred hiking miles racked up between Cannon Beach down to Gold Beach and Brookings. I thought the Calif coast was scenic until I witnessed the Oregon coast. Breath taking!! Made the mistake one time of towing my RV from Florence on Hwy 126 out to I-5. White knuckle high adrenaline adventure, with a train of pissed off cars behind me, but we made it. Good times!
