April 13, 1960: The United States launches Transit 1-B (Navy Navigation Satellite System), the world's first satellite navigation system to provide accurate location information to its Polaris ballistic missile submarines, later including surface fleet ships.
The Transit satellite system, sponsored by the Navy and developed jointly by the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) and the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, under the leadership of Dr. Richard Kershner at Johns Hopkins, was the first satellite-based geopositioning system. A fully operational constellation of 36 satellites was in place in 1968.

April 13, 1966: The Peter Watkins film THE WAR GAME had its first invitation-only screening at the National Film Theatre in London.
THE WAR GAME news from Nov. 27, 1966 in The Times: "Too horrifying for television." But not too horrifying for the Internet Archive.

"We present the US television premiere of Peter Watkins' film "The War Game," a graphic portrayal of what would happen in the event of a nuclear attack on Great Britain. The movie was so powerful and realistic that the BBC banned it from TV in 1965 despite the fact that the film had been commissioned by the BBC and had won an Academy Award in 1966 for best documentary. Although it has been shown in a few movie theatres in the US, it has not been presented on TV. "The War Game" is shocking, but is not sensationalized. It was carefully researched and based on actual events which occurred in World War II during and after the mass Allied raids on Germany and the atomic bombings of Japan."

Meanwhile, 121 empty oil tankers are making their way to the United States...including CHINESE. Come one, come all, Gulf of America is open for business. I think right now the US Gulf is capable of 5 million barrels per day output. The largest tankers in the world are the VLCCs, capable of holding 2 million barrels.
Within 10 to 14 days, Iran won’t be able to store oil and will have permanent long term damage to oil wells for extracting oil. Oil wells perform poorly after you stop the flowing process and takes a long time to restart the pumping process.
Iran exports oil, but it also imports gasoline and diesel. Iran lacks the ability to refine enough of their own oil into gasoline and diesel. So very soon Iran will be running out of fuel everywhere. I think the US strategy is to literally starve Tehran like back in ancient times of Alexander The Great.
WHY are we at war with Iran? This should eliminate any confusion. And it would be pretty easy to replace a few words here such as Iran with Vietnam; Trump with LBJ and it would still make plenty of sense.
