Serious question, because I really don't know - how much control do British homeowners have over their own homes, curtelage, or turf? Could they, for instance, fly the Union Jack or the St George's Flag from their own homes without running afoul?
I know that here, I can fly whatever flag I want (and have done - I flew a Confederate Battle Flag from my porch for a couple of years when it was frowned upon) on my own place, and no one can do anything about it. If they try, I have the right to grab them by the scruff of the neck and toss them back over to their side of the creek... because THIS side is mine to do with as I damned well please.
Is that a possibility in the UK, or is the country just too far gone?
