When I saw the media in Europe comparing stats between countries even though the countries involved had differing standards for how severe sickness was deemed [one can't compare dissimilar sets of data and expect to gain any useful conclusions], doctors being silenced by the threat of having their license to practice withdrawn, and ignorant bureaucrats winking and nodding at it all because it represented huge gains in power for them ... I opted to not be vaccinated. Have not regretted that decision at all.
Add to that the rest of the world not refusing flights from China while the Chinese had shut down air traffic within their own country ... yeah.
