As most may know, I am a strong defender of the 2nd. I carry every day and have for the last 40+ years.
That Being Said - I also know not put myself into situations that have a very good chance of becoming violent. If the cops are arresting someone, I don't throw myself into the middle of that and protest the reason they're being arrested. I keep my distance and if they do anything to violates that citizens Rights, I'll show up in court and testify on the behalf of the citizen with video to back it up.
Some people get cocky because they are carrying. They have that "I wish a mf would" frame of mind and that makes them reckless. I AVOID situations that may become violent because I'm carrying and I understand that shit can go from words to bullets in the blink of an eye.
You have the Right to Bear Arms.

The trick is having the common sense when not to mix the 2.
